Probably playing below his skill level.

You're going to need to find yourself some new weekend friends that don't drink and won't put you in a situation around alcohol. Clearly, you still have some work to do.
-
A tight game against a quality opponent can be like that sometimes.
-
I just realized, shouldn't this be semiannual? Strangely enough, I swapped the two when I was leaving a voicemail for my boss just a couple of days ago.
-
Set the precedent now, otherwise, she'll always have a reason for you not to play hockey. "You're going to hockey? But today is the anniversary of the first time that we saw Lady and the Tramp together???"
-
The kid is really on fire, another goal last night. He's making me look like a fantasy hockey genius.
-
Must be a tough name to have these days.
-
Tell that to Jeff Odgers.

It sucks when family can be like that. Basically, since my mom passed I haven't had contact with 2 of my aunts on her side. Life is too short to be the one that puts in the effort that is never reciprocated.
-
Ah, ok, so they're really in love with the kid. I guess they can't rally around Patrice Bergeron too much, what with playing on the hated Bruins and all.
-
The trick is to train yourself to act instead of react. The game moves too fast to think about what you're going to do.

Kind of makes sense that they would be all over him, local boy as developing star is always a good story. Here's hoping he keeps putting up those points, my fantasy team is depending on it.
-
I guess the question is how much sponsorship is going on. If the bar is paying for the jerseys then they're getting cheap advertising every game and really can't complain too much. If they're covering league costs, well, then you could have a complaint.
-
Even worse if you're at the game. I remember when we had tickets for the Lowell AHL team and the same 2 yahoos in the first row of our section would pound the glass and the boards all the time.
-
The sad thing, it isn't just in the newer cities.
-
It is still better than the alternative.
-
There was one that beat your goalie between the legs from the boards? You may not have been helping but I think your team might have bigger problems.
-
A "healthy scratch" for beer league? We joke around about that when we see a team show up with a ton of guys but I never thought it actually happened.
-
I think he means that the key fob fell off of his keychain. One would notice a car starter dropping off of the engine and bouncing down the road.
-
You just described the entire "Occupy" movement.
-
Probably because people try to beat the yellow but then lock them up when they see they aren't going to make it before it turns red. On top of this, find a support group. It will be easier to continue on if you can communicate with folks who have been through similar circumstances and have come out on the other side.

Tailgating is already iffy enough, there is no need to try and frighten the tailgater into a reaction and making an already iffy situation worse for everyone else on the road.
-
You could always pull off to the side to let them by. I've actually done it before if someone behind seems a little too aggressive for my liking.
