Set the precedent now, otherwise, she'll always have a reason for you not to play hockey. "You're going to hockey? But today is the anniversary of the first time that we saw Lady and the Tramp together???"
-
Must be a tough name to have these days.
-
Tell that to Jeff Odgers.

It sucks when family can be like that. Basically, since my mom passed I haven't had contact with 2 of my aunts on her side. Life is too short to be the one that puts in the effort that is never reciprocated.
-
The trick is to train yourself to act instead of react. The game moves too fast to think about what you're going to do.
-
I guess the question is how much sponsorship is going on. If the bar is paying for the jerseys then they're getting cheap advertising every game and really can't complain too much. If they're covering league costs, well, then you could have a complaint.
-
Even worse if you're at the game. I remember when we had tickets for the Lowell AHL team and the same 2 yahoos in the first row of our section would pound the glass and the boards all the time.
-
The sad thing, it isn't just in the newer cities.
-
It is still better than the alternative.
-
There was one that beat your goalie between the legs from the boards? You may not have been helping but I think your team might have bigger problems.
-
A "healthy scratch" for beer league? We joke around about that when we see a team show up with a ton of guys but I never thought it actually happened.
-
I think he means that the key fob fell off of his keychain. One would notice a car starter dropping off of the engine and bouncing down the road.
-
You just described the entire "Occupy" movement.
-
Probably because people try to beat the yellow but then lock them up when they see they aren't going to make it before it turns red. On top of this, find a support group. It will be easier to continue on if you can communicate with folks who have been through similar circumstances and have come out on the other side.

Tailgating is already iffy enough, there is no need to try and frighten the tailgater into a reaction and making an already iffy situation worse for everyone else on the road.
-
You could always pull off to the side to let them by. I've actually done it before if someone behind seems a little too aggressive for my liking.
-
The question still stands, if you don't like a person riding on your ass then why not just let them by rather than creating a potential accident? Why does the mentality have to be, "well this person on my tail really bothers me so I'll create a dangerous situation for them and the other cars around us. That will teach them." However, it doesn't. It is just a maneuver that is equally as reckless as them riding your ass. Just move over and let them be the next car up's problem.
-
Can't stand when people do this. If you don't like someone riding close to you then either speed up or move over and let them by. Why create a potential accident?
-
One piece of advice about saving for a house/condo, you need to save for more than just the downpayment, well, unless you like looking at bare walls and empty rooms.
-
Forgive my ignorance but I had no idea there was so much involved with being a librarian besides an understanding of the Dewey Decimal system, bun hairdo, glasses, and the ability to "shhhhhh" at will.
-
Just do this, whenever he leaves dirty stuff out and about then put it in his bedroom.
-
I'd move on. If they're waiting this long to offer it to you then they believe there is someone (in their minds) who is a better fit out there.

Take a course or two each semester at a local college until you can get back full time. It will keep you in the habit and give you some credits to build on.

You're in an ATM in Tulsa?
