  1. A little fishy when you can't see the people talking. I'm betting that this video turns out to be fake.
  2. Based on what I've heard so far, I'm fairly certain he would have blown just a touch higher than .08.
  3. Lack of availability of Cup championship hats. Couldn't Reebok have made just a few more. Kids in Africa would have loved a ton of Canucks gear.
  4. They don't need to step in. All they have to do is leave and get out of the way. It would have been much easier for the cops to smash some hooligans' skulls if everyone else wasn't milling around.
  5. 7 for a summer league game? On our team we consider that a strong turnout.
  6. Strange but true fact that one of the deadliest tornadoes on record occurred in Worcester back in the 40's or 50's, I believe. Those things are scary stuff.
  7. On top of that, all the more reason to sign up for COBRA when switching jobs if your new insurance doesn't kick in right away.
  8. I can't wait to see you kids on the next episode of Cops.
  9. Sidenote to the kids out there: College admissions offices and potential employers check out your facebook and other online social addresses.
  10. I know you're trying to capitalize as much as possible on lack of wind resistance but I'll never understand why road racers don't wear at least some sort of minimal protection on their arms and legs. Some kind of tight that will slide a little when they hit the pavement maybe. When I was in the process of buying my house, we controlled the radon test. I placed the container and then returned to pick it up and seal it. All the current owner had to do was open his door for me.
  11. This latest trend of posters who insert "ha ha" into their posts, and usually in places where there isn't anything even remotely funny.
  12. End of the month, cops have to meet their quotas.
  13. Since it sounds like the guy has a bit of a problem, as stupid as it sounds, he may actually be telling the truth. Imagine what he was putting away before he cut back.
  14. How, all 8 keys will be locked inside.
  15. Surely, somebody that you work with has AAA. As long as they are with you and the car then AAA will open your car for you for nothing.
  16. At least tell me that your car has push-button start.
  17. Any douche who writes viruses or malware. If I ever get my hands on one of you, well, let's just say I already have my defense attorney picked out.
  18. Good stuff, we caught them a few other times, including one really strange show that was in the large living room of some house. A friend of mine still follows Chris and keeps up with his stuff.
  19. The Pushstars, I remember seeing them ages ago at the Common Ground in Allston. They were so new that they had to play all their songs twice in order to make a set list.
  20. His car was uninsured so he has a $3,400 repair bill coming his way.
  21. Thanks to the jackass who decided drive right out in front of me from a sidestreet without even attempting to stop or slow down. If your brakes were out then how the hell did you stop after I hit you.
  22. Cardio does burn fat but there is a different percentage of fat calories burned between the fat burn level and cardio level. However, while the percentage might be higher at the fat burn level you could still burn more fat calories by working at the cardio level as you would be burning more total calories by working the same amount of time at a cardio level versus fat burn level. All of that said, exercise is just one component of trimming the fat. You also have to pay attention to not only how many calories you're putting in but also what type of calories and when you are taking them in. Getting proper rest at night is another overlooked component. A good night's sleep helps the body to recover from exercise and a well rested person tends to take in less and better calories than a tired person.
  23. The question I would ask is how long are you working out and how much intensity? To burn fat it is recommended that you work at a moderate intensity for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. You can break that up into 3 ten minute exercises if you want. The elliptical should have the guidelines for your heart rate of a moderate intensity.
  24. I thought that was what the $10 "gear exchange" fee was for......
