There aren't any BASE Nazis, we do not have a problem with BASE. I've said that over and over again - we've had problems with members, on both sides of the BASE subject. That being said... http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54298-my-eq50/page__view__findpost__p__824038

Picked up a 95 Oldsmobile Aurora from my next door neighbor. Paid next to nothing for it, pristine shape, garaged, 85k mi, Northstar V8, I can live with it.

WS Skate huh? You'd be better off shipping the skates to someone to mount, especially at their prices. My current gripe? Buying a car. UGH

Nah, have not settled up yet - just on the car. Medical claim is still ongoing. -

I have that set of steel - I have not sent them out yet. Have not been on ice since my car accident. Maybe sometime this week I'll send them out if your offer still stands. -
Settled my collision claim - got $6,000 for my 12 y/o Pathfinder. Think I did alright - I only paid $9000 for it.

Well, Heinze did not wear 57 his entire career. Boston wouldn't allow him to. He wore 23. When he was traded, he finally got to wear 57.

"Do you" is short for "Do whatever makes you happy" but it's meant in a way as if you are being selfish - as in you're only concerned about yourself.
-
Nice, didn't get to see that, I think I defriended them. LOL

That will be me soon.

Remember that a lot of LHSs offer a "house cut" and will charge you if you want something different as you're taking off more from the wheel. Best thing to do is for the skater to ask to get something, write it down then go from there. The wheel height is low on an X01/X02. A standard holder won't work on them. -
And put Sebastian Shaw back in the pyre scene at the end of ROTJ. THEN all is forgiven.
-
Haha I dunno about all that...
-
I understand but my problem goes past that - the injury happened w no contact - I stepped on a stick that was on the ice.
-
I already play in a non-contact league.
-
Hanging up the skates. Ever since I had my shoulder injury, I've been playing scared - scared of getting hurt again. Whenever I get the puck I worry about contact, whenever someone skates towards me I'm trying to get rid of the puck so that they don't come close to me. Tried wearing shoulder pads, didn't help. So after my last shift in my game last night I knew I had to walk away. I'll still skate by myself as physically I don't hurt, but I won't play in an organized setting indefinitely.

Sad - I had heard they had a fundraiser for him last month. Had brain cancer.

Longer edges wear down faster/have the ability to get bruised easier. I used to sharpen my skates every time I skated with ROH - I have my own machine and I sharpen less frequently now.
