  1. No, Nike Swift isn't a retail item.
  2. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa boy!
  3. Well, I've never had to sign NDAs for anything on here (I have when I went on a factory tour and whatnot) but yeah, it's essentially an agreement that I have with guys. I mean, if I scoop something before a dealer sees it, it's not a good situation for everyone involved. Although those days of me showing sales reps what their next year product looked like used to be fun but we've all grown up since then...
  4. Wow, so cool, you have a picture of a videogame. :) Here's the thing - if you think you have a picture of something new, PM me first. I am willing to bet that I already have high-resolution pics, specs, release date and an agreement with the manufacturer's product manager as to when we're going to make the information public. That is what relationships get you. That being said, that day is coming really soon.
  5. Sweet -if I don't get my machine in time I'll bring my spinners.
  6. They already put less steel on the Supreme (LS2P and LS2.1 has less blade height than LS2)
  7. The Rocket runner wasn't a failure, it is a great product. Sharpeners who didn't know how to sharpen it properly, they were the failure. They were the ones who turned customers off to it. Many thought it was the blade and just didn't know it was just an incorrect sharpening. QFT
  8. Looks like it was removed for some reason
  9. Seriously, basing a stick shape from something made in a video game?
  10. Well, Steve, that's exactly what I'm doing. Just finished chillin in the pool - and 4 beers so far. I hate this place. I was sweating my ass off sharpening. Ugh. Ran the machine and it seemed to have tightened up a bit. No, it was so hot the belt expanded.
  11. Here is my X02, taken apart - Tried to conduct my figure skate experiment, however the wheel started to slow down. Obviously it is the belt, and I have my theory on why this happened - high of 100 degrees outside which means my garage is like 130. Almost done fixing it, but it's too hot to work.
  12. Already did. :) sweeet man nice pickup i kno its a little late but ur one lucky mofo How so? He paid for it. :)
  13. They have the patent on the method to apply the shape onto the wheel to be used in skate sharpening.
  14. Hell, it pains me to even think about doing a pass with that monstrosity.
  15. I've had full shots of the stick for a couple of months now. Let me find out if it's cool to unleash it.
  16. Why would they? They can use it on their BM.
  17. Yes, it will work on a BM machine as the wheel heights are the same.
  18. And Blackstone has taken it a step further... FBV for the masses... http://www.blackstonesport.com/product_det...?product_id=186 Standalone Spinner dresser that will work on any standard machine. Magnetic base for steel tables, if using an aluminum or granite top table, you might have to hold it in place.
  19. See if you can get the standard (non-parabolic) steel from Easton. It actually skates pretty well with that setup.
  20. The screws are too long, pushing it inward towards the temples. The solution is to remove the ear loops or use smaller posts.
