Naw, I've met her parents a handful of times, slept over there, it's all good. They're very much like hippies, it's awesome.

My girlfriend: "Mom was asking if you were going to take me home next weekend. i said probably not, but she offered to pay for gas and to feed you and also to take the boat out and go inner tubing." Me after one second of consideration: "...fuck yes I'm taking you home next weekend!" Winner!!! Hahahaha.

Got my first game tonight up in Everett after a 2 week layoff by the league. Finally. Been itching to play a real game again, instead of the silly drop-ins we have around this state. They get quite boring after a while.

Any time! :)

Morello used to spend a lot of time making weird noises with his guitar, is he still doing that? He was probably the worst live guitarist I've ever seen when they played lollapalooza in 93 or 94. Off and on. Live, yeah, sometimes it's questionable. In studio with a master recording? Incredible. I enjoyed watching the videos of Morello live though, guess it's an acquired taste.

I'm just saying at like 75 you're probably not gonna drop down to 4th right? so accelerating from 75 to 100+ is gonna have to be done in 5th gear so that combined with the all wheel drive taking up power, the wrx will accelerate slowly, correct? And even if you do drop to 4th, it still won't pick up that quick will it? any way you cut it, it's a four banger, which are notoriously lacking in the higher gears. and who's really worried about performance at 80-90 mph+ anyways? you're already past the limit at that point, right? you should be worried about the acceleration from 45/50 up to mid 60s. True, I've just heard they're fast from a stop they're fast but from a roll, even like 20-30, it's slow and even like an rsx will beat it. I never thought deciding what to get would be this hard. I might go back to thinking about a Z but they seem like the least practical of everything I'm looking at. I'd take the RSX, if all your concerned about it acceleration speed in the later mph's.

And even if you do drop to 4th, it still won't pick up that quick will it? At 5th, going that fast, it'll still accelerate, just not as fast as say 3rd, or 4th would at lower speeds. You can drop down to 4th, but it'll rev the engine really high, and shouldn't be done at 70+.

I used to own an 03' WRX. Fun car, practicable, reliable, and phenomenal in winters. I loved it. Never driven an RSX...and like said before, two totally different cars. Any questions about the Subaru though, lemme know. well since they only have 5 gears and apparently the first 3 are wicked short, is it really slow on the highway? That statement makes zero sense. About the WRX or about how a transmission works on a basic level. I'm talking about higher speeds, since the first gears are so short, you can accelerate faster at lower speeds but you're not gonna use those gears once you're at highway speed so you're gonna have to use the 5th gear and acceleration will be slower? Am I wrong? I probably am I don't know. You could always drop it back down to 4th for a little extra 'umph' for passing on the freeway. At 60mph, dropping back to 4th will be around 4.000 RPM, and hopefully by the time you complete the pass, it'll be around 5,000RPM. At least that's the way it is with my car. Give or take a couple RPM's.

They certainly feel like a true 13", but it could be a really snug 14" for all I know.

Got them from a guy on Ebay who got them from EWH.

Just got these in the mail yesterday: 13" Easton Luxury Edition Gloves It's a narrow fitting glove, but I have smaller hands than most people. Definitely excited to give these a go on the ice.

That was me the with the 3 series and accord, not me with the mustang. I've decided on a 350z if I can find one though. MR2s must be pretty hard to find, I never see those around anymore. There are a TON of them out here.

That's the way to do it man! Hockey, hockey, hockey. B)

Those are very nice gloves, DarkStar.

Just curious to hear from all the car guys on here. What do you guys think of this one: 1978 Cobra II Link: http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/1258179883.html Would this be a good project car for just under $1000? I normally do not like Cobra's or Mustangs, but this one has itself locked in my cross hairs for some odd reason, and I'm really considering pulling some strings so I can acquire it. The exterior seems to be in fabulous shape, and most of the problems seem to be engine related. Obviously the leopard covers and mats would have to go, but yeah... what's your opinion? Should I go after it? Thanks guys.
