Great question

Got through the procedure. They forgot to do a biopsy yesterday so now they have to do it today 🙄 May have to stay one more night.

Tomorrow’s the day I get my drains put in. If the last time was any indication, it’s going to be a long few months. Hoping for a long playoff run by the Bruins to help me get through. 😉

It’s been forever since I’ve played in a beer league game, but I couldn’t agree more. We had a ref yell at someone on the other team to “Go home and beat your wife!”

I just found out that there’s a chance I might have a recurrence of my liver disease PSC Well I’m going to have to go in for a procedure. A PTC (Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography) which basically means I’m going to have a tube(s) to drain my liver for 2-6 months. Last time I had to go through this was before my second transplant. It’s not a guarantee that it’s a recurrence of the PSC but because of my history the doctors think it’s more likely that not it’s back. I’ve felt extremely fortunate to have received two transplants & to get a second and third chance at life. But right now the thought of going through all this again seems so difficult. Especially the drains put in my liver. The last time it was extremely painful. I ended up being put on fentanyl patches. That was a nightmare in it’s own right. Hoping that I don’t have to have another transplant, but if I do I’ll be one of the only hockey players that have had 3 transplants. Wish me luck

The two things I would like to see added would be UA sweatpants and workout shorts.

Could we MSH oven mitts??? 😉

Can't wait! Would love to go again.

Built a locker for my equipment a while ago and finally getting around to post some pics. Pretty happy the way it came out.Few things I'd do differently if I did it again. Put in fans to help circulate air throughout the locker to help everything dry. works well.

Borowiecki 3 games for hit to head I guess he didn't learn his lesson.

Cut the underside of my thumb on my table saw yesterday. Pretty bad. Lost quite a bit of tissue. There wasn’t anything left to stitch and close the wound. So it’s going to be a long healing process. Maybe a month. Most frustrating thing is I just got cortisone shot for my SI joint and was feeling good. Guess I won’t be skating for a couple weeks at the earliest.

Tested out my new skates today. Never realized how cooked my old skates were. Just got my MSH Pro Shop Steel Pouch in the mail too!!
-
New wheels, nothing fancy. First new skates since 2006 though. Newest piece of equipment and oldest. Bauer Flak shoulder pads. From 1989.

Very fortunate to win the series the way Tuukka played. He needs to play better if the B's are going to beat Tampa.

Kadri gets three games for hit on Wingels Seems about right.
-
Is that a suspendable offence??
-
Curious to see what Kadri gets. I can't imagine he won't get some kind of suspension.

I'm moving on Saturday. We bought our first home on November 27 of last year and have spent the last two months getting ready to move in. We had to redo the Kitchen & Bathroom. Put in new basement windows. We had to change a couple of rooms by moving a couple of doors to new locations. And a lot of painting!! I almost can't believe we own a house. We have lived in our apartment since October 1999. We had a lot of memories there. We got married. Helped take care of my Mom before passing away. We had our daughter. I had and recovered from my liver transplants. Now we are starting a new chapter in our lives. Never thought we would ever be doing this, but so excited for things to come!

A couple from summer jam.

Finally getting my third (and hopefully last) incisional hernia repaired tomorrow morning. Just a very frustrating couple of years dealing with these stupid things. Planning on being able to return for Summer Jam if things go the way they should.

Two years ago today I received my second liver transplant. Very thankful my donor and his/hers family for making the difficult decision to donate. Going in for my third hernia surgery and hopefully my last for a long time. Bottom is from November 2014 top is from today.

Fell awkwardly last Sunday night skating. Pain in my ribs kept getting worse since. I just heard back from doctors office. Broken Rib! Son of a B!!!! Plus recently confirmed I need a third hernia surgery. My surgeon found a weak spot between my previous two repairs. Looks like no hockey until next spring.
