no, really. I have both so I should know but maybe I shouldn't say "even better".....they are just as soft as MSH2 but without that "slickness" that some people (not me) don't like. I don't play in them too much though so I'm willing to bet the durability isn't as good as MSH2. probably won't find out for a REALLY long time. :)
-
you should feel the palms. even better than MSH2. in tufftek they wouldn't be so flashy. :)
-
I think the narrows provide a nice snug fit and the new "blooming cuff" allows for a little more wrist mobility than older versions, imo. I wasn't sure I'd like the blooming cuff but I do.
-
I went back and forth with the black and silver stripes. I wanted the inside stripe to be carbon though and judging from my MIAs that have carbon silver stripes (see below) I was afraid it would be too flashy if I went with black classic on the pinky and silver carbon on the inside stripe.
-
yeah, it was my "minor" special request. I wanted that raised look. the cuff name wasn't a problem because silver is a stitch color option on the customizer but maroon is not. so glad they were able to make it happen. :)

Fedex dropped off my custom Franchises today: I plan on using a fabric marker to do away with the white stitching...
-
I'm not sure you overpaid. you didn't get a bargain but you paid a fair price for that jersey, imo. I was watching that auction and considered bidding but went after a pair of MIA gloves instead. I'd pay that much and more if I could find a Thailand jersey. *cough cough*

beauties! I'm waiting until mine are in my hands before I post pics though I will tell you they were the first ones from this batch that they posted on Facebook. :)
-
I like the way you think! nice "Whaler" collection. LOVE the Vaughns!
-
wow TBL those are just....just wow!
-
awesome! I've got a custom order in now. it's been 10 days. I'm hopeful mine will be quick as well. :)
-
gorgeous gloves Joey! how long did it take Warrior to build them?
-
I doubt that you'd really notice the difference in weight. non checking has nothing to do with it. in non-checking leagues, in my experience anyway I think you get slashed MORE. I get whacked a lot on faceoffs and I LOVE the plastic inserts on my Eagle PPFi's.
-
yeah, that is an insanely good deal considering it includes the pro pack foams, name on the cuff and shipping. I paid the extra for the pro style (Kovy style in my own colors) and number on the thumb. some guys are getting their gloves in less than 2 weeks! :o
-
wow, those are really nice! I think the only thing I would change though is that white stitching thread on the black Tufftek. it's distracting. I'd have to black that out. for anyone wanting to go custom on Warrior Franchises these guys have a deal: http://www.prostockhockeygear.com/categori...-GLOVE-PROGRAM/ $220 including VA-80 with ProPack foams and name on the cuff. $10 extra for the pro patterns and $7 extra if you want the embroidered number. shipping included their Facebook page said the deal would expire 5/1 I put my order in last week. will definitely be posting pics when they arrive. :) no...words....should've...sent.....a poet. :)

I hate sharpening skates with those damn drive shaft things. makes it hard to get them in the skate holder.
-
this could very well be the coolest jersey I've ever gotten off of Ebay. and for less than $20!!
-
congrats to Sid on his 500th NHL point. for all of you haters out there who say "Crosby sucks!" "He's not all that!" there are only 2 people who reached 500 points at a younger age than Crosby: Gretzky and Mario.

pic is not inverted. wheel rotates counter clockwise. not even close but yeah, I've been slacking on taking the pics. I've had some of that stuff since before xmas. :)
-
the Eastons are a little looser, imo but they are all supposed to be a slightly bigger size.
-
nope, just the white parts. the first pic was taken outside with natural light.
-
it's been awhile but here are my newest acquisitions: Radim Vrbata Eastons nice gloves. closer to a 13 than a 14, imo. wish the skill came with the gloves. ;) Easton Air pro-glo always wanted a pair of these. found these on Ebay in pretty good shape for $20. Easton Luxury 4 rolls got a good deal on these from a seller here. really mobile cuffs. CCM Supra 420 pants and Mission Intake (VN) pro stock helmet, both in navy blue (not royal blue as camera makes them look) I love the Supra 420 line of pants. tried a navy sharpie to cover up the white Mission "M" on the helmet. when it didn't turn out how I wanted I decided to use a black sharpie. I tried to wipe off the sharpie but liked how the more muted blue looked in the emblem so I decided to keep it that way. glove storage (not hung on wall yet) and skate area in my basement many thanks to the people here on MSH for the peg board idea. I need at least one more board and lots more hooks for all my gloves. :) last but not least, not new but modified. blacked out Eagle PPFi gloves before and after LOVE the blacked out look!
-
+1. I told myself that I was done glove whoring for awhile but if I have the chance to grab a pair of PPFi's like that I'm pulling the trigger in a heartbeat!
-
a-ha! I had wondered about that! I noticed that Walker's gloves looked strange a few months ago and kept meaning to ask you about it....
-
I thought those were beautiful!! not my size though.... :(
