I agree with you BUT I can also understand wanting to have a top tier boot to play in as well.

Custom Glove Gallery (questions and answers)

if you want options that aren't on PSHG's website I don't recommend using them. I'm not sure if it's an issue on their end or the fact that they deal with Warrior Canada rather than Warrior USA but the last time I got custom Franchises through them I asked for a Hossa cuff. admittedly this was before they offered it on their website but they told me they'd "request it but couldn't guarantee it". this was at a time when folks going through other retailers who used Warrior USA were getting special things up the yin-yang. I didn't hear anything from them at all but when the gloves showed up it was just the standard blooming cuff. it wasn't a deal breaker for me and trying to get anything out of PSHG seemed to be more trouble than it was worth so I just dropped it. PSHG lost my custom business because of this. I've got another pair being made by Warrior right now but this time I went through Ice Warehouse and with help from Joe at Warrior USA (hopefully) I'll be getting everything I wanted on this pair. -
I agree. REALLY hope my newest custom Franchises come back with this font.

I give more credit to the sticks than gloves for hot streaks but I do feel better about new gloves once I've scored in them.

I try to use all of my gloves. I play on 3 teams total. on my main team I stick with the pair that matches our jerseys but on the other 2 teams where no one gives a crap if you're "uniform" I wear different gloves every week. we have 12 game seasons on one team so I can go 2 seasons without wearing the same pair twice. :)

not so far. the Goat is a little grippier but it doesn't seem to be a problem. it's my understanding that these were "demo" gloves which would explain the different palms.
-
Custom Franchises bought off of Ebay: 2 different palms on these gloves. right palm is Mustang, left palm is Kangaroo Goat.

I think those are from the Junior Thrashers. nice gloves though! :)
-
they may be minor league or perhaps a junior program but they're not from the Dallas Stars. still cool gloves though. :)

officially neither (juniors are just juniors) but I find them to be much tighter on my hand than the 13 narrows and the cuff to be much, MUCH shorter. compared to the 13 narrows the 12's almost seem like toys. nice avatar, btw. hope a miracle happens and we somehow get to keep them. :) -

I'm kind of the same way. when Easton made 12.5 gloves it was perfect for me. my first pair of Warrior customs were 12 inch and really just a much smaller glove overall. IMO the difference between 12 and 13 is the biggest difference between sizes: left is a 13 narrow, right is a 12 inch basically I've just found a way to make the 13 narrows work. -

as much as I love Warrior gloves has she tried Bauer 4 rolls? I found the fingers on my 12 inch Bauers to be longer than my 13 narrow Franchises. -
great Eagle collection! the Special Editions look mint! I normally don't like pink when it comes to hockey but the full outfit makes it better. :)

mine was a hair over 3 weeks for my last pair. -
those are super cool! how'd you score them? did you just call or go by the Islanders pro shop?
-
my last purchase for awhile (yeah, right!): Maine CCM 520 pro stocks from TSR can't get over how much smaller the 520's feel than the 420's.
-
being a Pens fan as well all I can say is, "WOW!"
-
if you ever run across some 13 narrows in the colorway let me know! :)
-
LOVE those! customs or did you find them somewhere? they match my primary team's colors perfectly!

QFT mustang is so much softer and more comfortable that it's ridiculous. so far in my experience it hasn't gotten "pilly" the way that nash does. -
I wish they had plastic inserts but for $169 shipped including the mustang palms I just couldn't say no. my latest Ebay find, IMO the best pants CCM ever made, the Supra 420: the seller had them mis-labeled as goalie pants but I knew they weren't. these are absolutely in brand-new condition! the 420 and the 1052 are the ONLY pants I've ever worn.

couldn't resist the sale on PSHG.com this past weekend:

I definitely prefer the feel of Mustang and MSH2 to Micronash but I guess I just always assumed that because Warrior wouldn't offer warranty on the "performance palms" that it meant that they weren't as durable. I'll have to start using my mustangs more often. :) -

are you sure that's most to least? I always thought folks said that the MicroNash was MORE durable than the Mustang not less? -

they also mentioned getting a team graphic on the thumb. has anybody done that or know what the upcharge is for it?
