  1. if you want options that aren't on PSHG's website I don't recommend using them. I'm not sure if it's an issue on their end or the fact that they deal with Warrior Canada rather than Warrior USA but the last time I got custom Franchises through them I asked for a Hossa cuff. admittedly this was before they offered it on their website but they told me they'd "request it but couldn't guarantee it". this was at a time when folks going through other retailers who used Warrior USA were getting special things up the yin-yang. I didn't hear anything from them at all but when the gloves showed up it was just the standard blooming cuff. it wasn't a deal breaker for me and trying to get anything out of PSHG seemed to be more trouble than it was worth so I just dropped it. PSHG lost my custom business because of this. I've got another pair being made by Warrior right now but this time I went through Ice Warehouse and with help from Joe at Warrior USA (hopefully) I'll be getting everything I wanted on this pair.
  2. for me it's the combo of price and the fact that I've had Dolos before and liked them. I really don't know anything about the Widow.
  3. must be a glitch in the customizer. when I did it standard was the only handle available for Int but when I passed it just now and then backtracked it was visible. however, when I try to click on rounded for Int it disappears.
  4. I considered going Int but wanted the rounded handle which they only offer in the Sr.
  5. really just want to try it out. typically I tape a large area of my blade so after the first time I use it it'll probably end up completely covered. I'm very excited about being able to have A) 65 flex senior B) Lidstrom curve C) simple, non-flashy paint job D) rounded handle before switching to 1 piece sticks I used an Easton Cyclone shaft and loved the rounded corners for my smaller hands.
  6. went ahead and pulled the trigger. always been more into gloves than sticks but can't wait for this one to arrive! Product summary Product Model : Dolomite Product Quantity : 1 Paint Color : Navy Blue Name & Number Plate :#71 Name & Number Plate Color : Silver Shaft Finish : Velvet Grip Shaft Texture : Smooth Shaft Flex : 65 Hand : Left Pattern : Lidstrom Lie : 5 (135 degrees) Blade Finish : Shark Skin Decal - Middle : Warrior Black/White Product Size : Senior Shaft Length : 56 Handles : Rounded went through Ice Warehouse. had to get there through the glove customizer but it worked.
  7. you and me both. I can finally have a 65 flex in the Lidstrom curve!
  8. pardon me for being dim but how? do we have to wait until the retailer lists it on their site? right now the retailers that come up on the customizer are the retailers in my metro area. not that I don't want to give them my business but it's not very convenient for me to get to any of them to pay.
  9. I agree. REALLY hope my newest custom Franchises come back with this font.
  10. thanks for the update. REALLY looking forward to what y'all come up with. any word on when the glove customizer will be updated?
  11. I give more credit to the sticks than gloves for hot streaks but I do feel better about new gloves once I've scored in them.
  12. I try to use all of my gloves. I play on 3 teams total. on my main team I stick with the pair that matches our jerseys but on the other 2 teams where no one gives a crap if you're "uniform" I wear different gloves every week. we have 12 game seasons on one team so I can go 2 seasons without wearing the same pair twice. :)
  13. not so far. the Goat is a little grippier but it doesn't seem to be a problem. it's my understanding that these were "demo" gloves which would explain the different palms.
  14. Custom Franchises bought off of Ebay: 2 different palms on these gloves. right palm is Mustang, left palm is Kangaroo Goat.
  15. I think those are from the Junior Thrashers. nice gloves though! :)
  16. I'm excited for this. I'm a short adult who uses a curve that no one offers in the intermediate stick, Lidstrom/Getzlaf. if I get one of these custom sticks I can get the SR 60 and then when I cut it down it will be a more reasonable flex for me.
  17. they may be minor league or perhaps a junior program but they're not from the Dallas Stars. still cool gloves though. :)
  18. officially neither (juniors are just juniors) but I find them to be much tighter on my hand than the 13 narrows and the cuff to be much, MUCH shorter. compared to the 13 narrows the 12's almost seem like toys. nice avatar, btw. hope a miracle happens and we somehow get to keep them. :)
  19. I'm kind of the same way. when Easton made 12.5 gloves it was perfect for me. my first pair of Warrior customs were 12 inch and really just a much smaller glove overall. IMO the difference between 12 and 13 is the biggest difference between sizes: left is a 13 narrow, right is a 12 inch basically I've just found a way to make the 13 narrows work.
  20. as much as I love Warrior gloves has she tried Bauer 4 rolls? I found the fingers on my 12 inch Bauers to be longer than my 13 narrow Franchises.
  21. great Eagle collection! the Special Editions look mint! I normally don't like pink when it comes to hockey but the full outfit makes it better. :)
  22. those are super cool! how'd you score them? did you just call or go by the Islanders pro shop?
  23. my last purchase for awhile (yeah, right!): Maine CCM 520 pro stocks from TSR can't get over how much smaller the 520's feel than the 420's.
