    No idea who she was, but I scanned the obit, and it said she died after a "seven year journey with breast cancer." We're calling cancer a journey now? I guess you don't battle or fight cancer anymore, you take a road trip with it and hope it gets lost on the way back.

    Totally agree, I had a similar problem, I wrote a glowing profile for a volleyball player in high school and the day before the paper came out she got in a fight at practice and was booted for the year. Felt like an idiot when the issue hit and I was talking about her commitment to the team.

    Lost the C league championship. 7-0. Some stats on our opponents: Wildcats: GP-8 W-8 L-0 Goals for:44 Goals against: 10 Playoffs: GP-2 W-2 Goals for: 12, Goals against: 0. They had 4 confirmed A leaguers, including the goalie, and 2 more B Leaguers.

    I'm sure he's living the high life on disability . Give the kid a break, his dad is obviously in a very serious situation and, like any good dad, is doing whatever he can to make things work. I'm betting the guy isn't using his disability checks to put together a down payment on a Maserati.

    Oh God, I came here just because of him. Goes out of his way to jinx the hell out of CC Sabathias no hitter, I hate when they do that. Said "No-hit" or "No-hitter" or "Hasn't allowed a hit" at least 8 times in the eighth inning. CC gives up a hit with 2 outs, and later he asks McCarver if they talked about whether they said "no-hitter" or "perfect game" during David Cones perfect game. McCarver says yes, and Joe Buck says "There you go, myth debunked." It's not about a literal jinx, it's about 1 part superstition, 3 parts tradition. It's a matter of respect, and it's just the way baseball is done. It's that simple. Of course you aren't responsible for the hit, but it's an insult to fans of the game to stomp all over the traditions and ignore them like that.

    Apparently Apple accounts are pretty easy to hack, couple other friends have had similar problems from iTunes or the app store. Luckily, I don't use any apple products so I'm going to shut down my connection with the iTunes store and hopefully steer clear of their systems from here on out.

    wake up, check the bank statement and see 4 charges between 45-50 from iTunes I didn't make. Called the bank, they are taking care of it, killing my debit and sending me a new one, so I probably won't lose any money. Problem is I can't figure out how to get back on iTunes to shut down my account and apples support system sucks, had to call three numbers just so that a guy can tell me to send a stupid email to get anything done. Going to be tapped for cash for a few days, just praying at this point that the bank really has my back.

    My tech savvy brother suggested I download the "opera" browser on my BlackBerry. I did, and it shows MSH beautifully, the standard browser could never handle the site.

    We go down 6-1 in our game tonight, and I get pissed, slap my stick against the glass. No slammed, not broke, it was basically a stiff tap. Ref laughs at me while he sends me to the box for 10.

    Lol my friend is Irish and he hates St. Patricks day because of the poseurs looking for an excuse to get drunk. He went on a pretty big rant about everyone eating corned beef and cabbage saying it's not culture "if it's the only GD thing you can eat or else you die!" and explaining that eating pasta in Italy is cultural, eating sausage and bratwurst in Germany is cultural, but eating Corned beef and cabbage in Ireland is like Eating rice in china. It's either that or starve.
