  1. Nice... I've only seen the more popular 4 rolls (tacks?) and a couple other RBK labeled variations that were said to be Eagles or Warriors.
  2. ^^ nice additions. I've never seen Reeboks like that exactly, they're sweet, I wonder who really makes them.
  3. Very nice. I have a black V08 I'm waiting to get a visor for, I originally wanted another oakley modified aviator like I have on my maroon V08 but I think I might try out an itech instead, that one looks really nice.
  4. wow, how is that Kozlov curve legal? That thing is crazy.
  5. x2 it's addition by subtraction, by losing the Nike logo it makes them so much more appealing (I personally never cared for anything made by Nike so maybe it's just me).
  6. Awesome Homer pillow :D
  7. Hah. My mom dug some photos out last night, and the first thing I thought was "oh man, I miss those skates so much." yea I remember back in the 90's I wanted a pair of those so bad, unfortunately I never got a pair :( now i want to look for some old shots back when I started playing and see what i can come up with
  8. I love them... I actually used the one w/ the Jagr blade the last game I played, still feels great. The other one has a slight scratch/gauge that looks like it may be a weak point, so it stays as a back-up back-up back-up.
  9. I don't have much of a stick collection like soem of the guys here but I just got a couple new ones and figured I'd show them all off. My fiancee bought me a new Mission Titanium last week to replace one that had the blade split (haven't had a chance to tape it yet, I'm in between seasons now so I haven't played in a couple weeks), and the Bauer One95 just came today as the warranty replacement for the previously mentioned broken Mission stick. sticks are as follows: Bauer One95 87 flex Staal Mission Fuel Ti 75 flex Sundin Mission Titanium 85 flex Rafalski Easton Synergy SL 85 flex Forsberg 2 Easton Z-bubbles (circa 98/99?) both 85 flex, one with Koho Jagr pro stock blade, one with Sakic focus flex blade Easton S11 85 flex Heatley Bauer One50 87 flex P87 (i think)
  10. I'll jump right on that 5100 bandwagon... I wasn't a fan of the exterior too much at first but that inside looks really comfy, and now i don't mind the outside too much.
  11. I think I'll be in the minority but I'm going to disagree. To me that S12 is hideous with all that silver carbon junk, looks like a ski boot or something; where as the S9 looks a lot more refined and classy. Maybe that's just me and I have a feeling it's an age thing, seems like all the kids these days like some pretty ugly stuff by my standards (damn this makes me feel even older than I really am). I don't have a pic but I picked up another mission Titanium stick yesterday while I wait for my first one to be warrantied (and wait to see what I get in return), it's a Rafalski 85 flex and I picked it up for $99 from the LHS... hoping this blade lasts more than 4 uses :D
  12. I have a Sundin 85 and fell in love with it right away, too bad the blade is splitting in half after 4 uses :( I'm afraid of what I might get as a warranty. I have the Fuel Ti in Sundin 75 flex and love that too (feels almost the same as the Titanium 85 to me), both are great sticks it's just too bad I've only come to this conclusion recently and won't be able to get them pretty soon... doh!
  13. Pretty sure they were called "Air 50's" which is printed on the side, they had those and "Air 90's" if I remember correctly and maybe even a lower end one as well. I completely forgot about those skates, I had those 50's and loved them but wanted the 90's so bad; they reminded me of the Mega 1090's in a way which is what attracted me to them. no there air 30's i just looked i liked em alot then i grew out of em :( My bad, my work computer must no be that sharp of a screen. Yea those skates were nice.

  15. Am I the only one who read the part where he said the color is red not orange?
  16. I say second one or last one, they both look nice.
  17. You think the kid would have put some shoes on for the pics or atleast cropped his toes out
  18. I spy Syosset rink... decent facility but wish the ice wasn't so soft. Way to protect your goalie... I was always a small d-man as well but that never stopped me from doing the same as you.
  19. Great looking Golf mate, the gold CH's suit it to a tee. I'm still a member of Vortex, but don't frequent it as I no longer have my Golf VR6. Daily Driver and tow car: 2002 HSV Clubsport. You guys don't get these, but it's an LS1 with 6 speed, 255kw standard and based on our Commodores. pic Track car: 1991 Nissan 180SX pic Thanks. Both of those cars are beautiful, I especially love the sx. Dahonam... nice A4, love the red caps on the CH's :D
  20. Those XXXX's came out great. I love the red highlights. That's how hockey skates should look, not all grey and white and shiny but black. Seeing how nicely that came out I may be tempted to experiment on my brand new One75's to get rid of the silver up near the tendon guard... hmmmm.
  21. I have the same feelings about my one65's, amazing skate I just don't care for all the silver and whatnot, wish I could have gotten the one95 look just didnt feel like paying that much I think I may black the silver heel out sooner or later, that should help a little bit. On a performance note, I had them sharpened and rockered today and tried out my new sole brand insoles, it made a pretty huge difference so I'm pretty psyched.
  22. It's just b/c they are in fact, real sexy :P The pic quality doesn't hurt though... was shot w/ my D40 with a 50mm 1.8 lens, it's a super crisp lens and has the effect of slightly blurring everything but the subject (more or less depending on settings and skill, I'm still practicing). I skated on them again last night and felt like I was skating on ski's. I think I'll be heading to my LHS to get some profiling done, maybe give a 9/10 a shot.
  23. Yes lefty and yes you're correct it's a One50, my bad. Almost positive it has a PM9 curve on it and it's an 87 flex. It'll probably be collecting dust along w/ the S11 since I didn't care for either. SL is 85 flex, Forsberg curve. S11 is 85 flex, Heatley curve. Mission is 75 flex (almost the same as the 85 on the SL), Sundin curve.
  24. New skates, Bauer One75's. These fit like a glove and I'm just getting used to the LS2 holder & steel since I've been on Custom+ for about 20 years. The only gripe I have is cosmetically, I'm not a fan of all the silver junk and the clear One75 logo on the top, oh and I'm used to thick tongues so the thin black tongue just looks weird to me. New Mission Ti stick (from last year), love this stick so far. Also my Synergy SL, one of my 2 Z-bubbles (which may be about 10 years old by now), an S11 hiding in there and a Bauer One55 which was used for all of 5 minutes (it was my first OPS experience when I started playing hockey again and I hated it, wish I knew about this site at that time)
