We have a 4% restocking fee. Basically just covers CC cost, and an annoyance of having to return stuff that we apparently wasted our time on you. This guy didn't go buy it online, if he did, the place he bought it from is below MAP. Wouldn't surprise me if he did though, this guy is pretty much an idiot. Honestly I can take the idiots who are misinformed, and the people who are pricks (to an extent), but my biggest pet peeve is people who we spend a vast amount of time to suit up, and then return it like it was no big deal that they dropped XXX and spent sometimes hours of our time in helping them, only to return it. Bugs the hell out of me. Not only do we end up not selling it, we could have sold it permanently to someone who wasn't interested in wasting our time. After about 5-6 people who we suited up to return it the next week (all adult league type players.. its weird, they all are like 25-30) we decided to put the fee into place.

Had a weird one today. For the last two months this guy has been coming in almost every week buying little things at a time for ice and roller. First he gets gloves and a stick. Then ICE skates a week later. Then he gets elbows, shins and shouldies. We don't see him for 3 weeks. Next time he comes in he says he wants to do roller. So he has us size him up for roller skates. Then he goes to a roller rink and has them size him up. Then he comes back and tries on inline pants. Then he goes over to the rink and asks how much this stuff would cost. Then back to us for pricing. Then to them, then back to us to finally do an order. (confusing, right?). Also, every time he comes to us and the rink apparently he is psyched for an inline league that is about to start, which has PLENTY of space available. Once we place the order in, he has us change some stuff. Then he finally gets his inline skates, girlde and pants. Then a week later (today) he comes in and says that he can't do inline league cuz its full, which is total BS. I'm like do you want to keep all of this for ice (Which he wants to do, which also has plenty of space)? And hes like no I just want this returned. Hope that made sense.. doesn't to us. Atleast we made some money on the return. Ha.

My audio doesn't work, guess I missed that. However, these skates were already altered by the eqm. mangers to work for them, so I would take the "this is the first time I've put these on" with a grain of salt. It was probably the 2nd or 3rd time they've put 'em on. Commercial's don't always have to tell the truth.

They didn't think that one through, but they probably wanted to use the skates that they had already and didn't want to hassle with anything considering they did that shoot in-season.

(I saw this post before yours in TO review, and posted before I saw that too, and really, didn't know it was the same person until I just saw this....) Dude I'm just saying its not like they could have ordered them for you unless you asked before they put there order in. Unless they made some wheeling and dealing and their rep loves your store, it would be pretty hard to change the order if were talking several weeks or months after it has been put it. From the sound of what you were saying I was given the thought that you were criticizing your shop...still sounds like that, but not to the extent that i was thinking it was. Anyways, not a big deal, i don't care... I just wanted to make it clear to you that its not like your shop is full of assholes who don't care about their employees, conversely, its just that they couldn't do it. And in TO thread, from the sounds of it you ordered a size too small, however you said you had a bit of room in them, so then a half size will work. You never mentioned that, which is why it seemed as if you screwed up and wasted a couple pay checks on skates that are going to be too small to you. But from what you've stated, they'll work perfect then.

You must not be involved in any ordering then. Cuz if you were, you'd know that you had to order these in like December (was 11/30 last date to order? I can't remember). Anyways, yeah, they had to order these almost a half year in advance, so you can't really bitch that they couldn't get them in your size (or width in this case).

x72s. I think 150? is the price on them. And if they aren't 09's or 10's then you could probably get them even cheaper, althought colors might not be widely available.

The new lines of gloves are just upgrades of older models. Kind of like a company with skates. Almost essentially the same thing, just an improvement on them, so instead of the same model number they use new numbers.

Is it just me or have calls been slightly biased against us the last couple weeks? I'm pretty sure we've had more PMs then the other team almost every single time. In the Detroit game I saw two high sticks against us, should resulting in Power players for us. Then we had the one on Zett... they called that one. And the interference calls on us were weak to say the least, and Detroit did the same thing or worse against us and no call. Was it 1 PP to 4 tonight? I know we're not squeaky clean people and cheat like everyone else, however it has seemed we have been cheating equally or even less than the other team, yet resulting in more PPs for the other team.

the u+ pro to me was nearly identical to the ST. same feel/weight. Really though, I wouldn't go with it. Seemed like one good slapper and this thing would break. Felt brittle. There are much better options at better prices than the pro.

Mustang imo is the best out there. I've tried on every style and the mustang i keep coming back to. each their own but still, mustang fing rocks. if you have the money to blow on a pair of gloves customize a pair with mustang and u wont be disappointed. very glad i got myself replacement mustangs when i had the chance

Dude, if you play adult league you're one step below pro. you're fucking amazing and have scouts watching you. All 3 people in the stands are secretly scouts for your favorite nhl team and they always coem to watch you even though there are other people on your team and league that are better than you... they're there for you.... amirite? :P

Yesterday; I was clearly busy sharpening skates, multiple pairs on the counter, and this D league guy comes in with jersey on saying i play in 15 minutes and i need an end plug. i say they're behind the counter, i'll help you when i can. he clearly hears me and says where are they again? behind the counter? I'm like yes, behind, i can help you when i can. Then he starts talking and saying well i play in 15 i need this now. I help the guy, and then he wants a end plug that is 2 inches that is rubber... wtf? i'm like we only carry wood, then he goes on for a couple minutes asking me if this tour pos stick is good, or if this ccm v1.0 SMU stick is good? I'm like no they probably only cost like 50 bucks, then he argues with me they are worth like 150 a piece. I look at the price tag, he bought them from a shop in minnesota, and they've been marked down multiple times from 80 to 30. After about 5 miuntes of arguing and bullshit, guy's like im not going to get anything i need to go... what the hell? and also yesterday i was sizing this guy up for a helmet, had an xl sized head, only thing we had in stock that fits the guy is the 4500 and an 8k. the v10 would work but we're soldout. anyways he says he wants a cage on it (not specificizing what helmet), and im like this helmet (pointing at the 4500)? and he goes off saying ofcourse this helmet, if i didn't want it i could go online and fucking buy it. i don't care about local shops i care about getting items now (totally hilarious btw... lhs is how you get items now). and them i'm like no no im not saying if you want it or not or if you want to buy it, i just wondering what helmet you wanted a cage on to try on. guy finally understood it, but way to late to save himself from looking like a total asshole. sometimes i really hate my job, most of the time though i love it. and at those times i hate it, i look back on it, and love it some more. idiots make my day.

i liked them. you really don't have to put the straps on to secure it in place, the back plastic really molds to your foot well. I think if people give them a chance if coming from a bauer or rbk they'd like them.

Good question; I can't find it on bauer's website. I also couldn't find 9900 helmets, so they might have just forgot to add them. But the way it is looking, they are no longer producing wood sticks.

was it the 6k then at 200? Or am i just thinking of bauer supremes at that PP?
