    Shoulder are similar to the ST16s, so are the elbows. There are a few difference in both of them, but they aren't huge differeces. The elbow cap is large, but it is a pro level pad. Don't know anything about the EQpro series!

    Was just told by PSHG that the lock thumb isn't available on the gloves. This is very strange considering they offer two choices of lock thumbs on their website... May have to get the synergy 800 model instead of the EQ5c. Any feedback on the Easton palm options? Clarino, Goat Suede, or Horse?

    Hmmm PSHG said they would send me a proof when the get it from Easton. But then they release their custom Synergy 800 glove Is Air Knit the gussets? Or the liner? Anyone know what Wrist wrap 2 cuff is?

    Just bit the bullet and ordered some EQ5 customs off of PSHG. Ill see if i get an email or digital proof in the morning. Judging by the "stock available" looks like i was the second or third person to buy them off their site. My gloves: Zone 1: Brown poly Zone 2: Brown PU Zone 3: Toronto Blue (i asked if this could be Atlanta Blue) Black binding Jet Stream blue logo with no outline Carbon thumb, name and number. There is no size listed on the site and they say a digital proof is required so i'm looking forward to an email.

    I have a pair too, just would like some more custom ones. Thanks dude! PM'ed On another note, anyone know what a "carbon lock thumb" is? Also this custom EQ5 cant be a standard EQ5. There are no triple segmented fingers or adjustable cuff. Anyone know what these are exactly? TBL?

    No thats not the problem, it cant be. Because the 90/75 sharpenings i have had for the last 10 months have all felt basically the same. At least to me. But when i changed it a drastic difference. I dont think many skaters notice the inconsistency, there has to be some. But does it really matter? Maybe its your sharpening job?

    Oh man, I switched from 90/75 to 90/50. What a difference. I felt like i was skating on rails. Not sure i like it yet, gonna make the final decision tonight. Interesting chart. I always thought that is was #/50 but apparently to be more accurate it #/05. Also i was told that 90/75 was the 5/8 equivalent. Apparently its not... Interesting! With all these choices and 10 dollars a sharpening how are you supposed to figure out which hollow you like?

    I highly suggest changing steel. Sure they may be a few grams heavier, but they will skate 1000% better! Are the EQPros the new protective line from Easton? This is the first ive seen of them... Can you take a picture of the inside?

    Basically flush. If you push down on the weights there is a little bit of give which allows it to recess slightly.

    Thank god for the NHL network, being able to watch hockey during the off season is amazing. It's even better when the game that's on is the sharks beating the wings!
