Yes, 10000 sorry.

I don't think I'd be willing to put out the money for the 95000 if it wasn't equipped with the best they have to offer, or at least extremely close.

As someone who has the 9500s, I can't beleive a skate can be much better.

I know the chassis is magnesium, and the wheels are the sub-zero or whatever, so that could make up the price difference right there...especially at 20 bux a wheel for those puppies.

Better wheels...Better Chassis......Carbon Fiber Outsole....Japanese Clarino Liner.....Better internal stiffeners...Better Bearings....

I have been told the cost of manufacturing the 10000 skate is higher than any other skate, ice or roller, ever made...I don't know the exact costs of skates from my competitors, but I have an educated guess....Top of the line Ice skates have holders only, which cost 1/6 the cost of our chassis, wheels, and bearings....

The 9500 is the top of the line skate, but the 10000 is in a league of its own....

Japanese clarino liner? What's that like?

The liner in the 9500s is interesting. It's got a good grippy, yet soft feel. And the material is like dinosaur skin looking. Lol.

I got my 9500's today. I had to drive down to HockeyGiant's warehouse in Carlsbad, CA to get them. Then I needed to drive them up to HockeyGiant in Anaheim to get them baked, and have a hot spot punched out.

But they're fitting nice and snug now, and I'm happy. One of the hubs of my Rink Rat wheels was cracked (I noticed it on my way to Anaheim) and I had to buy a replacement wheel because they didn't have any other Rink Rat microbearing wheels but that's ok. I'm sure it's an isolated incident.

Like everyone else who has the 9500's is saying, the boot is STIFF. It really does feel like a high-end ice boot. A HUGE improvement over the 950's from last year.

I'm playing with them on Friday night (my first time on rollers in almost 6 months) and I will post a bit more after I use them.

Also, I got the 7500 pants in Charcoal/Black. I'm not sure if I will use the neoprene strap on them, but I'm still glad it's there so I have the option. They seem to fit better than last year's pants did too....hmm.

Well I've done it...

Ordered a pair of 10,000's.

I haven't had proper roller boots for so so long, always converted ice boots.

I think Justin made a point about how commited Mission are to roller and the grass roots investment they make and it swung my decision.

....And my 8k's have been killin' my feet for the last 2 months!!

Hope I'm not disappointed cos they do look the business.

I am sure you will be very surprised at the build quality of these skates...They are awesome...As a side note, you definitely want to heat fit these if possible...Otherwise it may take some time to break them in....

Also, if you like a lot of foward flex, skip the top eyelet...It is what I have been doing on my skates for the last 10 years.....

Justin, I got my 9500's baked last night....but I think I may need to get them baked again. Is it ok to get them baked more than once?

Yes...No more than 3-4 times....Remember these will take a bit more time to break in....The internals are alot stiffer this year and need time to form around your foot...

Yeah, no kidding! :)

Ok. I'll probably just get them baked one more time.

Justin - NYC is a pretty much a black hole for roller hockey gear (as you probably know).

Do you know of any SkateBake ovens in or near the city?

I'm waiting to order 10000's but will probably have to cancel if I can't bake them.

Thanks a lot in advance...

well living over here its kinda hard to aviod it seeing as the nearest shop is a day trip away.......

Before any stores near me had ovens I would just stick a hair dryer in the boot and hold it there for a couple minutes, then put it on. I would still do that over sticking my skate in a home oven anyday!

I believe DarkStar is just south of the city in Northern Jersey if you can't find a Mission dealer.

Maybe someone can enlighten me??? just got my 9500s and realized that(I just retired my 970s after 6 years with regular bearings) you cannot just swap out wheels. is there a reducer of some sort in case im in a bind for a replacement wheel or bearing. id hate just get rid of all the extras i have. By the way none of the Lhs have wheels with micros.

Bill33: You don't need Micro bearings, all you need is different spacers for your 608 wheels.

Look like normal spacers, just with the sides capped off, Micro & 608 have the exact same dimensions, so it will fit like a glove.

If your local hockey shop has inlineskates, and they don't know what those spacers are/look like, you shouldn't be shopping there...

The only company I know that makes an adapter for 688 bearings is Ninja...However, you would get a better deal buying a set of 608 bearings. I believe BSB sells all of their bearing with center spacers....

ive gotten a set of adapters.. the plastic ones are no good.. they rip and tear away from alot of use.. the metal ones are ok.. the bearing doesnt spin as good.. almost like its restricted from spinning as much as it would without the adapters on.. buy some regular bearings

on my 7500 skates one of the back wheels is struggling to spin fully and it looks like its rubbing on the inside of the chassis. Will this affect my skating performance or is it a problem that should disapear?
