The top one reminds me of Atlanta's logo. I have to say that if they go with that design it will be a big improvement over the current logo.

The second logo is freakin AWESOME. Love how the D is a webbed duck foot. The first one is basically a Thrashers logo but I'm betting that the jerseys are so different you won't even think they look alike.

By the way, I'm guessing they're making the team more marketable now by dropping the "Mighty" from the logo (and possibly name?). Kinda sucks though, I grew up watching the Mighty Ducks tv show - one of the best tv shows ever (and it was the only thing 'ice hockey' we got in New Zealand).

A definite improvement on the old logo I agree. But couldn’t they come up with something more original?!

The colors in the top logo look almost exact to the Thrashers logo, one big wing, and hockey stick keep with the same Atlanta theme as well. Then in the bottom logo the font is very similar, right down to the serifs and sharp edges.

People get paid big bucks to design that stuff, all I asking is come up with something original.
