I'm playing it, and while it was fun, it just seems too individualistic.

It looks real tight though, the graphics are very good.

Just seems like it's a cool game to play with your boys but just feel like I'd get bored with it.

The CPU will be a lot more aggressive on the superstar difficulty, and the goalies will be a lot better. I understand the MSH 2k bias, but game should recognize game.

Hopefully the XXX skates and SL get replaced with 40s and the SE in the final build.

No, there's no bias involved.

I said I think the game is fun. If there were bias involved, I would call the game a piece of shit, which you guys have done plenty with 2k8.

I have my problems with 2k as well - I hated the fact that it was a checkfest. I just want a balanced game, and from playing this demo, I just think it's too much of a danglefest.

I'm failing to notice bias as well. As a matter of fact, Bouce seems to be more critical about the gameplay than complimentary about anything except graphics.

This game is awesome, Granted it's on pro and I usually tweak the hell out of the settings to reduce shot speed and all that good stuff. And the fighting took a big step up. This actually "feels" like a hockey game. I never would have imagined EA would offer the most realistic hockey game....took long enough.

Well, you see about three quarters of the players but it's quick punches like an actual fight. No more of that pulling on the jersey BS. There's a meter on the bottom that indicates who's winning the fight, once you go in the red you lose. It's a hell of a lot better than previous renditions of NHL.

- In OTP, if a player is disconnected, the CPU takes over for that player and you can keep going. If it is the host that disconnects, then the rest of you disconnect.

- There are tinted visors in the game (take a look at some of the screenshots). You can edit/ create player and use tinted visors.

- You can edit ratings if you don't like them. If you go into dynasty, you can go in with those edited ratings. If there are glaring mistakes, we can fix them with a roster update.

- I've seen some complaints about ratings. This is an example of some people overlooking the big picture. Phaneuf's check rating is a 90. A 90 checker is one of the best in the game. Combine that with his 90 aggresiveness, 90 thoughness, 90 balance, and his 6'2, 210 lb. frame, you have possibly the best checker in the game.

-There have been no AHL screens yet because we cannot release jerseys until the code is unlocked after ship. So because we didn't have the 06/07 jerseys, the AHL teams are wearing practice jerseys with team colors and logos until the code is unlocked.

- If you are playing the demo and not winning face-offs, it's probably because you are hammering on the right analog before the puck drops. Be patient...time your draw just after the ref drops the puck.

EA has always had terrible updates for it's rosters, Devils last year had Mogilny and Malikov on the team for most of the season even though they didn't play one game...i'll skip it and buy 2K8 for half as much dough.
