Congrats David, Im positive you will do well in STL.

I was ecstatic to see one of my old teammates go #1. But the rest of the draft has been kinda kooky.

Gretzky gets Kyle Turris at #3 in Phoenix.

Big plus to the fans for the standing "O" for Grertz.

10 cents NYR pick the falling Russian.

What you gonna buy with your shiney new dime?

A suit and a haircut for that kid.

Hopefully getting drafted to your favorite player's team + sweet Euro mullet = successful NHL career

LkptTiger also played with Kane.

Played against him a bit, too. I actually enjoyed playing against him...but I always had more fun when we were teammates than I did when we were playing for opposing organizations.

how many of the top ten picks will be playing in the NHL come next season you guys/girls think?

No more than two first rounders.

Kane has to gain some serious weight and strength over the next 2 months if hes going to make the Hawks.

Id say Alzner has a pretty good shot at cracking the Caps lineup next year tho.

I'm going with zero. Kane, Turris, Gagner, and Hamill need to muscle up first. Isn't JVR going to NCAA? Alzner is a maybe with the Caps but an 18 year old D-man is asking for trouble. Voracek could see the first 10 games but Hitchcock? I don't see St. Louis rushing their guy and Ellerby, at 6'4", 186 lbs needs some more beef on that frame. I hate to see players get rushed and wrecked like Manny Malholtra was at 18.

This was funny:

5:55: My new favorite moment of the draft: Farhan Lalji interviewing Cherepanov and his interpreter in the stands. Here's the transcript:

--Farhan: "How difficult is it for Alexei right now to still be on the board?"

--Alexei (in Russian): "They're going to kill me! I'm going to be killed!"

--Interpreter: "There's nothing he can do, it's unpredictable."

--Farhan: "Do you think the transfer agreement issue between the Russian Federation and the National Hockey League is playing a part in this?"

--Alexei (in Russian): "Of course! Let me hide in your basement, Farhan! I'm begging you! They're going to kill me!"

--Interpreter: "Some part of it ... yes."

And, I can't believe that writer let Shattenkirk go by without a Star Trek joke...I would've been ALL OVER that!

How old is she? She can't be pushing 19.

I can't read Czech...so the only info I got is from someone else.

What I do know:

Inna Puhajková is her name...Google brings up results

What I've read:

Legendary hockey star Jaromir Jagr to get married

Leader of the Rangers ice hockey club Czech Jaromir Jagr, 35, will marry Inna Pugaykova, born in the Ukraine in 1986. Jagr got acquainted with his bride last summer. Two years ago Pugaykova had won "Miss Internet" contest in Czechia.
