Im not sure. Coudl be possible, could be also the players national flag. Lombardi and Phaneuf are from Canada, so it would be cool to see a Kipper jersey or something as a 'proof'.

Will the water resistant properties of the new jersey material make getting an autograph on one harder. I mean, wouldn't most inks have a water base?

Maybe I'm nuts. But, that just popped into my head. It'd be a bitch to pay 139-300 bucks for a new shirt, and have the ink just smear/run when your fave player put pen to shirt.

The piping ruins the jerseys. Otherwise, it would look OK; but the sleeves are a problem yet again.

Proportions are way off. The banding around the bottom is huge compared to the logo and the big white(or red) stripe on the sleeve looks bad as well.

Apparently it is the same as that but it doesn't have the stripes at the bottom and there is no laces on the neck. I think the jersey in that linke looks pretty rad, but the real one doesn't sound as good.

Saw the flyers jersey's today in Ed Snider's office today when I went with my dad to pick up our first set of tickets for the season. They are not as bad as the vomit that is still on my keybored from the first time I saw them. The sleves to me are brutal and I think the jersey would look great with a black pair of slacks. They are still ugly to me but I guess I will have to get used to them. I do think it would be great to see the flyers dawn the cooperall's once more even though I believe they were ban from the nhl.
