No Icing is the only place in the area that I have seen the S17 so far.

Edit: Hit Zwickers yesterday and they also have the S17.

I'm 50/50 on the s17, performs well but at over 200 its a very, very weak stick. I play mainly pick up and beer leagues and this stick just isnt holding up... I picked mine up in the toydrive so it was a good investment

I didn't take the the time to read this whole thread but I feel that the s17 is a waste of money unless you are ...

A. Very rich/Spoiled

B. Getting them handed to you like hotcakes(Pros or college)

My friend I work with at the LHS broke 2 in a month and he used a 100flex and he weighs about 150 and 5'7

just a waste in my opinion

Having a job never hurts either. While I probably won't buy a third s17, I think they have been worth the money for me. I take over 500 shots per week with training alone, so when a stick lasts me two months in that environment I am satisfied.

update on the $100 stealth...

bought thursday

used in one game friday, one game saturday, and now sits in two pieces...

I'm thinking I'm going to retire my Toy Drive stick early. I love the stick, but I don't want it in 2 pieces, it looks better on the wall in 1.

No, not really. It's a really sharp looking stick. Too stiff for me and I don't like the way the face plays.

I love the way it looks, and it's a gem from the current "geometry wars."

I've got plenty of other sticks that I can use.

I suppose I could sell it here. Probably plenty of guys that would want a mint Drury S17. Maybe if I got a sweet trade offer, but I'm not too hard up for cash. Maybe in month since my campus job just ended :P

Edit:

When I said "on the wall" I was referring to a pile of sticks lined up along the wall, not hung up or displayed particularly. It's not like I scored the winning goal in OT for league champs with it. It will probably still see puck time on synth. ice or stick/puck on the local outdoor rinks.

Somehow that would just feel wrong. I'd gladly trade for an 85 Drury, but that's a month or more off yet.

You guys act like it's a sin to own a piece of equipment and never itend to use it.

By the time your 85 Drury would be available, I would probably just get a 100 Drury :P

Damn, I didn't realise people still hadn't received theirs yet. If it's any consolation I hope you guys get a batch with decent durability, especially in the blade.
