Is it just me or does Crosby's jersey look like the numbers are heat pressed?

I was wondering when someone was going to notice that  ;)

Last year when the penguins were in Raleigh, november somethingth of '06, i had seats right on the glass for that game. I noticed the penguins had some sort of heat pressed deal going on then... i cant remember who it was, but during warmups his back was right on the glass, and you could see the distinct markings of where holes were on the air-knit fabric. i thought it was very weird that they had a heat pressed scheme going.

it might have been one singular jersey... i just remembered seeing the one guy with a bizzare number set up (i know what twill looks like)... im totally spacing as to who it was... wish i had my camera, would have taken a picture cause i know nobody'd believe me. :P

These are not heat-pressed, nor are they the lettering they used last year (textured twill)...

Are they pieces of dri-fit that are melted on? Man-made fibers usually deform and bond under heat. It would be the only way to maintain the jersey's stretch-ability across the back (that I can think of).

About the picture with Iginla: What rink has advertising on the goal posts?

The game was in Saskatoon last night, home of the WHL Blades. All of the WHL teams have advertising on the goal posts.

I'd take Doans Vectors over Iggys any day. Curious to see if the new Vector will grow on me as the Vector helmet did. Not a fan of the purple though.

Isnt that an old Nike Quest?

Yes they are a pair of Nike Quest 1's. Awesome skate. Nike had a really good skate I wish that line got continued in the style that they were like then. If you see them around you can get them really cheap, and for the price you can get them now I don't think there is a better skate.

I still have a pair of quest 1 inlines. They are great skates. Got them with the redstar chassis instead of that wobbly Tuuk rocker. I got them when they first came out, and they're still going strong after about 6 years. My friend who recently starting playing is borrowing them, and they're still in great condition.
