Price gets the start tomorrow in Phoenix. I think, and hope, that Halak will play Saturday against LA...and Price can come back against Anaheim.

Halak has to get in a game at some point...if he sits too long and then HAS to go in for (god forbid) an injury or something...it could be scary.

Agreed you have to give Halak some playing time and it is a perfect time too, going up against a team like LA who have been struggling the whole year, and a team that Montreal should be able to beat without Price in net.

if you throw halak in after a Price loss you're not doing any good to your #1 guy. This is the guy who they traded their veteran goaltender to hold the ball. I think if you took him out after one loss you're draining his confidence and not sending the right message, I would say L.A. is the best oppurtunity, they're not a strong contending team.

Grabovski left Phoenix early to go to LA and talk to his agent after being a healthy scratch against Phoenix

http://www.habsinsideout.com/main/4898

Even though Grabovski is an pretty good player, but he is not good enough in my opinion to be a regular in the line up.

There was spin being presented that he was asked to fly separate from the team because of the flu...I haven't done enough reading to find out if that is real or not.

No way. They interviewed carbo and some of his teammates and they weren't very happy with the move. Most of them were saying things like: "You just can't do something like that but let's blame it on it's age, he made a mistake.

that's interesting...pretty selfish to expect a regular roster spot when he's played most of the season in Hamilton and theres like 14 games left..kid needs to give his head a shake.

on a side note whats with all the jersey flip floppin, ive seen a few games lately where the home teams wearin white..am i oblivious? has this been going on all year, no biggie just wondered

With that kind of attitude, i hope he played his last game with the Habs. What a crybaby.

The last time the Habs wheeled a cry baby, the Avs were put on their way to their first Cup.

I'm going to the game v Anaheim tomorrow. We'll see if this win adn Anaheim's loss the other day hurts their chances.

--nick--

I doubt it one loss will affect they way they play, hopefully tonight will be a good game.

It looks like Montreal has a legit shot at 7 50 point guys. Higgins is low man with 43 points right now.

For a team that has had it's scoring described as one-dimensional, 7 players with 50 points seems to be pretty good.

and yet the Habs will be doubted game after game, oh well rather surpass expectations that fail to meet them *cough* senators *cough*..good point tho, never really realized it.

That is pretty impressive for a very underated team, and i am pretty sure Montreal are second it the league for goals.

i was at the game tonight, and only those of you who were also there, can understand what i mean when i say, with 1 minute left and then when the game was over, ive never heard such loud cheering, my ears were going to pop, they fans got up at 4 minutes left and kept screaming and clapping until the stars were done being announced, but when the game was over, it was like you were at a rolling stones concert, absolutely amazing

I've heard Bell Centre when it's rocking live (Shootout win v. Toronto last St. Patty's Day) but I can only imagine what that must've sounded like tonight. On TV it sounded loud...so live must have been deafening.

I dont know if anyone else on here bets sports but it amazes me to no end how underrated the habs are.

- for the most part vegas lines are based on reality but also on public perception of a team (to lure action to one side so as to ensure a larger profit for the books when they lose). For a first place conference team the habs are consistently undervalued. They are often at plus money on the road or only slight home favourites to teams that the public perceives to only be decent.

I think its interesting that the underrated nature of the 08 habs can actually be empirically demonstrated.

Price played a great game, if he can play like that and start to get on a bit of a roll, i think Montreal can have a great playoff run. Hopefully they can carry there momentum into thursday nights game against Ottawa.

I hate Mtl's medias. Everytime Price has a good game they start thinking he's the messiah, they compare him to Patrick Roy, they show documentaries about his life, etc. Common, it's just one game.

I was saying to someone today...Price can go from Rookie to Legend in 32 wins. The 16 it took to win Calder last year and the 16 it will take to win Stanley this year...

No pressure though!

thats montreal for you, no other organization imo rides their goalie like montreal (well the media mostly). Oh well I'd rather the hype and the comparisons than not, Hasn't been this much excitement since well, 93. In this day in age like you said Radio, 16 wins can surpass 16 decent seasons without a cup
