I agree about the CUL in '08. It was the main reason I went back to playing Pro, from playing All-Star because it would happen all the time in All-Star. And to this day, EA denies that CUL exists....yeah right.

I always thought "catch up" was especially noticable in NBA Live. Teams that are ahead will frequently go ICE cold to even it out.

My friends and I refered that phenomenon as the "EA Giveaway"

I feel kinda stupid that I only just found this out but if anyone hasn't done it yet you can do a "spin-o-rama" by holding the left trigger and rolling the right stick from right to left downwards. Works pretty good aswell.

Pretty sure you can't...You may have to start it over. It gets all messed up in the offseason anyways, the computer makes silly trades and signings.

there were some posted a few pages back. I just found a good one;

RH shot, goalie blocker side corner- holding LT to face the net, start to break to the slot, the goalie pops off the posts to square up- perfect top corner shot, goalie can't get the blocker up or change momentum to get shoulder/body on it.

Harder to pull off, but if the traffic opens up and you get off to walk in the slot it works well. Haven't had success glove side, don't know if it's the computer glove hand or player shooting angle.

Anyone else notice the Obama ad, on the boards, in the game? I don't care if it's Obama or McCain in the game, it shouldnt be there. I swear, everyone needs to tell everyone else who they should vote for.

You can't roll Vista back to XP on new machines anymore...so "given up" may not be the best wording to use.

I think vista gets a lot of crap for no reason. Once you adjust the settings, it's just as good as XP was. I think it's more negative hype than anything.

I heard the ads that Obama bought were for Online players, I'd assume anything that is new to the game has been added online.

Yeah figured as much. First time I saw it I did a double take lost the puck my friend scored and cursed the Eagle Eye advertisement. Saw it once more a few weeks later and that was it, I still haven't seen the Obama one though. I'll have to go online and see what comes up.

It's not just about settings.....it has a lot to do with an out of date registry, major driver issues, ridiculous security measures prompting you for permission to do mundane tasks, etc. At least that's the bulk of the complaints me and the other techs at my work have with it.
