I know from an aesthetic point guys seem to like the fabric toe cap (not sure if thats the best way to describe it), but for me the plastic one looks better. Cleaner.

watching the Leafs vs. Sabres game tonight, i noticed Matt Stajan wearing WinnWell gloves. He previously wore Warrior's but the font on the cuff looked very different, almost futuristic. Looked like WinnWell to me, unless Warrior changed up the text on their cuffs

I think my first should pads were winnwell. Pretty sure a common bra has more padding then those things did.

Is the stuff terrible quality or did it just not sell well? I bought two pairs last night partly because of the sale, and partly because they had two color schemes I've been wanting. I'm not expecting much from a $25 pair of gloves, and I suppose they can't be any worse than the $30 Mission Fuel's I had.

I think the Winnwell is all (certainly the sticks and gloves) rebranded stuff, the g500 sticks are either Warrior MacDaddy/Bauer Vapor XXX (the guy checked the codes printed on the inside of the cap for me a while back) and the gloves look like TPS, check distinctive sewing pattern on the back of the cuff :)
