how's Jokinen allowed to tool around in those, I thought spray painted gear was no longer allowed? unless of course they are cutting him some slack due to just being traded?

If I understand correctly, the ban on spray painted gear was only for equipment whose manufacturers didn't want to pay the fee to have thier name on equipment. I.E. No one can use a Joe Schmoe model stick, and spray paint over the name.

Chadd or JR, if I am wrong on this, please correct me.

i couldn't find a pic and i couldn't see the dudes number or name but in the leafs caps game, one of the caps blade was nasty (not in a good way) it had a massive rocker and a true square toe...it made it a triangular blade lol wondering if anyone has a pic

Technically yes, but if an independent company were to do so without CCM being in on it there would be legal hell to pay. I don't know if it's the NHL trying to keep small companies out, or something RBK/CCM pushed through for less competition, or what. All the sticks come from one of what, 5 factories? Who cares what it says.

I just recall when Dolomites were being demoed for the first time, their sticks were blacked out but you could still see the graphics package without the Warrior block text. I wanted one of those very badly at the time. Also Busch Lightning sticks.

That seems to be the graphics on it but I could swear I caught a couple glimpses of the S17 elliptical shape at the taper. Knowing that this guy tries everything new, I was wondering if it was a glimpse of a hidden S17 replacement.

Its airbrushed, or painted on or whatever. I dont wear it either, just got it at the end of a season one year.

Ive always wondered that, thanks adam. A guy that lives around where im from played in switzerland for a few years, and was topscorer a few times, i could never figure out what they used to put the flames on them.

He has said he will likely stick with a visor when his face is healed, probably something smaller. I saw him on a local sports show a week or two ago where he was showing his helmet, the visor, and where the padding over his forehead was removed to take pressure off of the plates he had put in.
