The Ward gloves look like they have a backroll that's faithful to the S17's they're modeled after, but, as JR suggests, they have a Zetterberg-style thumb.

if you got an opportunity to watch the video on NHL.com of Easton's Pro Camp with Heatley, Toews, Getzlaf, Zetteberg, Johnson, Gaborik. you'll see towards the end of the video Gabi has those gloves that Ward has on in a Wild colorway.

screen cap. (i know NOTHING about these gloves.. but i assumed they were new gloves Gabi was trying out.. b/c at the end of the video and during the start of the season he went back to his 4 rolls he always wears)

That S17 Brooksie (Laich #21) is using is new. If you remember he hosted the "Stick Prep 101" last year on Caps.nhl.com using a Warrior (Dolomite I believe).

he wanted the Sakic curve in the synergy back when he was in the WHL with Seattle.. but they sent him the Drury curve.. so he used it anyways then never went back to anything else.

The Canucks just practiced here and my boy grabbed a broken Edler SE16.

At the top of the shaft was a half torn sticker with a bar code reading "LIDSTROM" and "MADE IN MEXICO".

Nice stick though.
