The real ovechkin skate?

i'm just wondering if anyone out there knows the type of skate ov actually wears??? they advertise that he is wearing the new vector u + pro ccm skate, but his are different and actually have his new ccm ovechkin clothing lin logo on the skate tongue. i like the new vector u + pro model, but don't like the tongue. i wear my skates the same as ov with the tongue bent over and shin pads resting on top - this can hardly be done with the vector model advertised on the ccm site and in stores. i noticed that iginla is wearing the same style as ovie, but am not sure if it is the exact skate. anyway, if anyone can help me out, and even let me know if my desired pair of ccms can be purchased somewhere/somehow that would be great.

Get new tongues installed, most pro players get custom options on skates like tongues, stiffness, size, etc.

These belong to Jbone, a member here. He's got a setup similar to what you're after in the Vector U+ with LS2 holders, just like Ovechkin.

the tongues on mine is just felt added to the original tongue

they were much cheaper and easier than a full tongue swap

and they look exactly the same

you cant tell at all when your on the ice

I revlew 3-4 skates a year. I got those back in July but I've been looking for work and bouncing around Atlanta and Orlando and haven't been able to skate.

I'm pretty sure that before he was on the U+ OV was rocking those black 10.0s, but everytime I looked I never saw the LaceLock installed on them...Were any guys big users/supports of them?

rafalski sucked bad enough to help the wings win a cup last year in EPros and is still using them on the wings. Won one with the devils in 03 also. What a slob he must suck using those EPros.
