CCM U+ CL Skate

I was at the Reebok event today too. The new U+CL looks sweet in person. I thought the 7.5 was a little heavy, did not seem as light as the old U+'s to me. I really think this is going to be a good seller for CCM though, as it is a strong improvement as Darkstar said. I was very impressed by the skate, and though I did not try it on (honestly wasn't sure if we were allowed too, I think not) it looked to be a wide skate, and I liked the new quarter material. I think you CCM guys are going to be impressed.

Agreed! Rip off the CCM holders, add LS2 with Fusion steel and you are good to go. That would be my set up.

The indents on the tongue? I'm assuming it's way more in-depth than that. Are we talking TotalOne tongue like features or something not quite like that but is in the right ballpark?

I dont need a crazy Ovechkin flop or Gomez Run DMC stick up, I just want something in the middle. I was told that the tongue thickness is pretty nice. Not too thick, not too thin.

The tongue is a multi-part tongue, U-foam, lace bite protector, sweat drain system/vent and something else I can't remember. I'll look it up tomorrow.
