I'm certain the "SENS" unis are done, these will likely be used for a while. The NHL turns "100" during the 2016-2017 Season and would be sweet if Original 6 Teams all faced in a Heritage/Winter Classic Matchup wearing their old gear.

To me the addition of numbers is just another step in the direction of adding advertisements on jerseys much like they do in Europe. Do not like that notion that at all. I want to see clean, sharp, creative uniforms. Not a billboard on skates.

Those #s on the front of the helmets look horrendous. Epic failure.

All they need is "Daniel" or "Danny" in white tape to bring us right back to mite D hockey look.

My thoughts echo Krev's completely. It looks cluttered and as if it is one more step in the direction of having a million damn things all over the uniform like Europe.

You have to do you what have to in order to pay the rent.. I personally think the numbers look fine, if the league thinks their necessary then so be it.

guys, lighten up, it is not like they are putting an 800 number on the front of the helmet. it's actually meant to serve a purpose for the league. I do not understand why anyone would compare a two-digit maximum number on the front of the helmet to what they do to helmets in Europe...

What's this logo on Cookes gloves? A bear?

Looks like Hershey Bears or something.

Found this on WB/S Pens Facebook page, not new but I am unsure as to why this guy is using a My Bauer One95?

They aren't NHL pros with contracts. They have to buy their stuff sometimes if they are in a pinch. Or maybe he just really likes the feel. #Ritualistic

What about all of their other equipment? shoulder pads, shin pads etc?

It just hit me that he's not a normal member of the Baby Pens squad so he is probably from the Wheeling Nailers or another semi-pro team. Possibly he couldn't get any Bauer sticks or he just had a supply from years ago. Still interesting though seeing a guy at that level with a My Bauer stick.

Shoulders and shins are most often the same ones they've used throughout Midgets and Juniors. Sometimes even before then if they hit their last growth spurt in Bantams.

Until a couple years ago St.Louis was using the Yellow Synergy that came out back in like 2004ish), I think. If guys find something that works consistently, they stick with it, until they hit a dry spell.

Hershey hasn't used a logo like that in at least a couple decades and he doesn't have any connection here.

Just a thought. I think he might have a PETA thing....

By the loosest definition, Marc Savard is classified as an animal. If that isn't animal cruelty, I don't know what was.
