DetroitRedwings94 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2010 jeez i think the graf ops is hideous. I mean, I'm glad they're trying to change up the usual graphics trend but im not a fan

sher-awesomeness 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) The blade graphic on the Graf ops reminds me of the Louisville Locjaw blades. Edited January 31, 2010 by sher-awesomeness

Chadd 916 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 It does have some basis in fact though. The Busch sticks have great feel but not much else going for them.
adam14 182 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 the newer model Busch sticks are actually surprisingly impressive.
camhockey16 5 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 looks like they clubbed a baby seal with that graf stick - and being that there seems to be an eskimo pattern on the blade that may not be too far from the truth
sickwilly 37 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 The performance would have to be amazing for me to use that Graf stick. I'd candy-cane it too, just to make the graphics "go away".It looks like they were trying to market the stick to people who'd like the louder Warrior stuff. The comparison a few posts ago to the Loc-Jaw blade was great.

I have other sticks for that....I used to do the WW2 stuff when I was in College...just think it would look cool in my Man Cave with all of my stuff. So....again...if anyone has a source I'd appreciate it.
Stafford21 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 the new Graf sticks have been out at my rink pro shop for a while now. From my limited experience with handling them I'm not overly impressed. I think for them to sell the price would need to be significantly lower. The lower end model is painted as a retro wood stick with blue decals and a fake "tape job" on the blade. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 I would have thought that a Graf stick would have a wood shaft fused to a dead, thick, heavy composite blade... mismounted of course.
sher-awesomeness 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2010 Judging from the vent placement, the VN foam, and the conveniently labeled sticker, I'd say that is a Nike Bauer 4500 helmet. As for the visor...no idea.
