Curious, 

Would you consider in True Skates a D size as a Fit 1 or 2?

I currently have size 9 Large True tongues, and they stick out too much. The pair I have are the TF Pro thin tongues. I don’t like how the excess part sticks out of the skate.

If I went down to a Medium, would the metatarsal guard end up in the wrong spot, or would switching to a smaller tongue be fine?

Would like to do something like this but not have to cut the tongues.

I actually just ordered a size smaller tongue as I have run into the same issue with where they sit to be the most protective and comfortable.

Hi everyone.

I took a 5 year break from hockey, and after I got off the ice last night I noticed that the rivet securing the tendon guard had disappeared from my old VH skates.

Anyone know what kind of rivet would be a suitable replacement?

I went down a size in the 3D printed tongues and prefer the length on them. I didn't notice any difference with the metatarsal guard but the 3D are very squishy.

Just a regular copper rivet. Can use helmet hardware too

Skip the rivet.  Just use helmet hardware or the appropriate bolt, etc.  Will stay connected much better and you don't even need access to a riveter.
