I love the Vapor 8 and 10 perforated steel though. I was skating on some again with the Vapor 10s I picked up. I was really enjoying the feel of those blades until one of the Tuuks cracked on both towers. I've only skated on LS perforated steel a couple of times. I don't really remember it being all that different from standard LS steel.

TPS was bought by Sherwood, judging by these pictures - it looked like Sherwood is not part of this anymore (or are they?). Wouldn't they have to approve of something like this?

Don't mind me, I may add more stupidity.... I had a block of years in my 20's where I stopped playing/paying attention to hockey and gear, and last I remember TPS was a Louisville product so I'm confused lol.  Is Louisville not a company anymore?  Did SherWood buy Louisville?  I googled and see Louisville still makes baseball/softball stuff with the TPS name, so I'm really lost lol Whenever I see "TPS" I assumed it was a Louisville product.  Ok old man backing away now lol

I have a feeling the TPS brand is going to essentially be a branded blackout sticks. But that's just a hunch. Don't think they'll offer anything that will get me to stray from a CCM or bauer on clearance or gepettos pshs

This is my guess too. You only relaunch the TPS brand to appeal to a bunch of middle aged folk, and you’re doing it way more on nostalgia than tech.

Surely they can send a 'wrap' for the kit men to stick on? Spray them black, stick it over the top? He might be like Phaneuf though who liked a new pair every two weeks anyway

Not wearing ones with the retail graphics makes me think he's trying to fly under the radar and hoping that nobody notices he's not in a CCM.

Could be. If that’s the case he thought ahead and went to black CCMs for a bit before the switch, trying to hide the swap under the cover of darkness. If he really cared he would have had the EQMs black out the Hyp2rlite stain at the top of the quarters too though.

There's been a lot of chatter that it's PSHS, but I can't point to a definitive source pinpointing it.

It's a bit blurred, but I think that's the "PRO" circle logo at the end of the "PRO STOCK. INTENDED FOR OVIE USE ONLY." And that text alone is enough to implicate Geppetto.

It isn't confirmed that it is PRO, and I tried to get it confirmed and he won't... but if you use logic it is obviously a PRO stick.

I think it's pretty much confirmed by the pictures. No other stick had that exact font and stripe on the underside. It's definitely a pshs.
