with you on this. it really bugs me that the pants are cream while the stripes on the jerseys and socks are white. I do love the jersey though.

Agreed. Messaged a seller on Sideline Swap who was selling HP70X's and asked if his had the X designation or not, and he said they did. Eh, as long as it's 0 cost to me, I would rather return them and get what I actually wanted. There's nothing wrong with my HP45X and they are my pant I game right now, so it's not like I'm in dire need of pants for an upcoming game or something.

The "instructions" provided in the box actually say not to use any kind of spray and to only use warm soap and water, and to wipe down with micro fiber towel. That's all I've done so far, and it's worked just fine. I just need to be conscious when I take my gloves off between shifts to not try to touch it, because it does attract grease and sweat easily. Usually between shifts, I unbuckle it and flop it up to give my face a little air and it prevents me from touching it by mistake.

There aren't any guarantees that it will feel exactly the same, but theoretically, yes. How much you need to drop depends on how much you cut off the stick. When you shorten the stick you lose leverage to flex it. So if you drop down in flex, it will make it easier to flex the stick with the given leverage you have with the current length. If you want to get down to the math of it. I did some research a while back and made a post about it.

If they are so secretive about the process that they are using that they won't allow it to be captured on video, why would they be inclined to send you their custom foot lasts that could help to further indicate to a competitor said secretive manufacturing process?

K I've had 2 games with the shield now, 0 issues. No fog or anything else.... Highly recommend.

If I had to guess, they installed the holders without steel, and like JR said the steel was a hair too wide for the channel

Warm up a skate oven, turn the oven off and put your gloves inside for 1-2 minutes. I like to heat one glove at a time so I can work it in before the other glove cools down.

I don't get the cream shells... why not tan to match the gloves? Or at least swap the white on the jersey/socks for cream to match the shell? Reminds me of a mis-matched Beer League uniform.

Gloves now a days don't require much break in from what I've seen, most are good to go from the start... long gone are the days of full leather bricks taking months to break in 😂 the struggle was real back in the 90's... I still have flashbacks of breaking in Easton Air GX gloves, those things were torture but oh so rad.

Never had issues with Bauer steel struggling to get into tuuks. If anything it's step that's always made me sweat getting steel in and out. Esp on the ls2 holders. Anyways, maybe remove and put the steel on the freezer for a bit then try to reinstall. This way you're not trying to expand the hokder but shrink the steel. Just enough for it to fit in smoothly. It's weird though I've never seen a holder bend like that. When I read your post, at first I thought it was mounted improperly and was bowing.
