I think I will start a curve request thread. No guarantees here but it gives us quality feedback, so why not.

Ok, so in my other thread I was getting requests for possible future curves. Pro Kovalev and the classic Coffey are examples of requested curves not currently offered by Base Hockey. This thread is for customer feedback and I will definitely keep a tab on all of the requests, whether it be curve, lie option, or a modified existing curve. Here at Base Hockey, we listen to customers and welcome feedback on all levels. With that said, blade molds are not cheap and there are no guarantees that these will ever become retail. So have it, let's hear your requests. The more heavily a blade is requested, the more likely it could become a reality. Weight should not be the determining factor in stick flex. It should be leverage, form, and strength.

I use a savoy special and love it but the shaft is a bit boxy. Any chance of a shaft shape option?

After two and a half months of my state's only full size rink being closed, we finally have new refrigeration pipes down, with the coolant system being turned on today, and the new ice starting to be made... Let's hope they don't screw it up, and our new season can begin soon...

This thread makes me so happy. I have been using easton tapered blades (synthesis, synergy 2, synergy elite, se16, mako2) for years, but i only have one left and cannot find anymore in my pattern (E3/sakic). I have tried Reebok and they were okay, but those are not around anymore either. Based on what i can see, would the stiff option be my best bet if I were going for the easton style of blade? Also, are there different finish options for the tapered blades? Thanks.

Hey, I think I just found a cool alternate use for Powerfoot. The foam over the backhand on the inside of my Warrior DTX gloves has broken down to the point the gloves fit really loose and slide around, so I threw one of my spare sets of inserts in them and they fit nice and snug again like when I first got them. I'm gonna try them out in a game this Friday, but so far they've worked great for stick handling and shooting. If they work they'll be a much easier and cheaper fix than sending the gloves out to have the foam replaced, assuming there's even somewhere to send them to do that.
