There was not a Friday drop-in (as I had other pressing matters), nor was there a Monday drop-in (needed to make money whilst possible). But I have decided to work on my temple. Right now, my body is more like a house trailer. So I am trying something new. With my wife's ongoing medical problems, it was about time we try something new. I gained about forty unanswered pounds because of my foot problems, and it just isn't coming off like it used to. I have surmised that my goaltending would improve IMMENSELY if I were a little less fluffy. So, we're trying smoothies. I spend a crap load of money on fruit and veg on Sunday. So far, not having that starving feeling like I used to about fifteen minutes after eating fruit or veg, mainly because of adding yoghurt or protein powder to the mix. Trying to get more stuff into my smoothies. If anyone has suggested mixes, please give them.

The CCM Tacks line is being refreshed for 2016, starting with the Super Tacks skate. It's an interesting boot - the boot is an one-piece carbon fiber frame that is very anatomical. The skate doesn't have an outsole nor a seam anywhere. The toecap is riveted in - you'll see in the pictures below that there is a peg right where the toecap and outer meet. I need to verify that the tongue has indeed changed. Originally it was supposed to be a molded tongue that has bound edges, but the stock pictures sent to me a few days ago don't. Will update as soon as I know. Also features their Totaldri liner, with abrasion patches around the top eyelet. Their Smooth Contour Pro is on the edge of the top of the boot for comfort. CCM Custom footbeds and Speedblade Black round out this skate. CCM is running a contest for seeders; you'd have to submit a video. https://supertacks.ccmhockey.com

thanks for posting the weights. I started weighting everything some years back when I discovered a blade that had 160grams listed on it from the manufacturer. When I weighed it, it was 190g. I have even taken a scale into a total Hockey many years ago to weight some sticks. I have been criticized by some (coaches) but it can be amazing to see where weights shift on major name brands.

Played god awful last night in the little cup game we have going here. Feel like I let my team down by making some pretty gnarly mistakes. I play D and instead of sending it to the boards to clear, tried to pass to the center, was intercepted and scored on. I know better, I don't even know what I was thinking. Not sure if it was the pressure of the big game, or having fam and friends in the stands, but I totally screwed us on that one. Coach was a little hot, gave some advise not to do that and we moved on. 3rd period, i do it again, same result. Thats 2 goals because of my exact same mistake. Its like I had a damn stroke or something and lost any ability to think. We have played this team 3 other times and won them all, last night was a total shutout, 6-0. Got our asses handed to us on a platter. Im new to the game (15 weeks), this is my first league, but thats no excuse, I need to pull it together next go round.

That blade shape reminds me of some of the Brett Hull Pro stocks I had.

And for informative purposes I will post photos of the weights in grams on a scale. The first photo is of shaft only weight, and the second photo is of blade and shaft together. I have cut 3 inches off, but this gives you a very good idea. My blade is definitely not on the larger side, so I will say that weights are not exact from stick to stick. However, the Nasty R is definitely one of the lightest sticks on the market.

After messing around with all of my demo sticks I have recently transitioned to a Nasty R shaft and blade, which I love. I just received my own personal Nasty R today and thought I'd share a couple of photos. This is 90 flex with my own custom pattern which is a very straight pattern with a ton of rocker. I use the gloss grip myself, with our newest "S" Stiff blade flex.

Sorry for the delay in reponse, boys! Here's a link to purchasing direct from our site - though some of your normal stores may have them in stock already. https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/insoles-and-sandals/carbon-pro-hockey @OptimusReim - They are sized by shoe size, as we've found that's typically a more accurate read for players since skate sizes fluctuate quite a bit. @milos Yes, these are trim-to-fit as well. @brandonthequick These are a very different product, but the profile is pretty similiar to that of the Yellows. Should be an easy transition!

He referenced a television show that was around about 10 years ago and though around like 7 years, I never considered it popular. Side note, how I took his comment was that it's not the league, but the player. There are players that are going to do questionable stuff at every level & continue do it, regardless of the level they are in. I'll add that I think a lot of this stuff is related to who runs the league. In my experience, Rookie League is the least chippy of any of the leagues we have here. In fact, I'm not even sure it's close. I'm also under the impression that the guy that runs both the Rookie and D4 League here doesn't put up with much. That is not limited to boorish behavior(unruly physical play, verbal abuse of the refs ect), but the player that appears to be playing on a team/league far below their ability level and making that very clear on the ice.

When people don't become "that guy" it keeps happening over and over. It won't stop until something changes and thankfully after a goalie slashed a player in the face a few months ago someone around here is finally doing something about it.

I've been on them for 2-3 months now. I don't fit in Vapor but I did use JetSpeeds in the past. So here's my experience compared to JetSpeed in a nutshell: much more responsive, even more anatomical, lower cut boot and a more aggressive forward pitch.

The S180 was my favorite price point in the line. It comes with the same tendon guard found on the MX3, the same liner found on the 190 and the tongue is slightly upgraded compared to the previous 180.
