Got my VH skates 2 weeks ago and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the product. Shout out to adrenaline's powerfoot inserts for the perfect combination of comfort and performance added to the already amazing package that is the skate. The first game with these skates on felt a little weird coming from Mako IIs, but since then it's only made me fall in love with them more and more. I ordered mine with the traditional sketching and pictures, no 3d scan. My only complaint was getting my foot in the first few times even after baking it, but they have videos explaining where to heat spot the skate to remedy this. Overall love the skates!ī7

We've started its own thread. I had been working with TRUE to keep this under wraps on MSH for a few weeks now.

I play pickup with an 81 year old with some of the best hands I've ever seen. Every pass he makes is right on your tape. I hope to still be alive at 81, let alone playing hockey!

My dad is 65 and still plays at least 1x a week. Could not agree more!

Except you kind of already did. As I said, I have zero dog in this fight, just a very different experience than you. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion on someone else. However, It's not productive, nor on topic, to continue this part of the discussion here. I am scheduled to have a game next week at the NESC, and will have my skates done by the Sparx machine to see how I like it. They somewhat need a sharpening right now. However, I have games tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday. So, I am going to hold off until I am at that rink next week to get them done. As stated earlier in this topic, I had them done by the Sparx booth at the New England Pond Hockey Classic last year. I believe it too tough to gauge how a sharpening feels playing on rough pond ice, as opposed to indoor ice. So we'll see.

Just like anything, as long as you can put in the time and effort, it is never too late.

Oh, you were so sick yesterday that you couldn't get off the floor of your bathroom, and now you are sitting in your office making sounds like someone is disemboweling you? No, no, you just hang out here, you probably are fine and not sick at all. GO HOME!

dkmiller3356, badger_14, sfdz6_20_07, you guys have dealt with some pretty heavy health issues and keep an incredibly positive attitude. Keep it up! A hearty thump on the boards to all of you.

Two and a half weeks ago I developed double vision that a neuro opthamalogost said was a 3rd nerve palsy. They say it is related to diabetes and high BP and that it would take about 3 months to go away. On Sunday morning I woke up and the double vision was gone!!! I am still not 100% as it seems like I get some headaches as my brain is working harder to focus and looking quickly throws things off a bit and I get disoriented but I have to think the worst is behind me and I am on the way to a super fast recovery!!! Hope so!!
