Holder size goes up on every half size Fit 3 I’ve seen.

Not sure. I think they used to list the inventory in the retail stores, which is no longer the case now. Everything you see is the stuff they have in stock at their warehouse, so just add it to cart and purchase. Looks like there is still Bauer 2S products. Yeah I almost had to get mine from Europe but luckily a couple of skate shops here in Australia carried them. Rink Rat also offered via messenger to sell me some direct but it ended up cheaper buying them locally. Might not be a bad idea to hit them up, definitely worth it. I couldn’t stand those 82a world cups, I was so excited to get the World Cup back and was let down big time. The only reason the og went away was because there’s minimal money being spent in Roller and average Joe wasn’t into spending the extra for a premium outdoor wheel. I almost fell off my chair when I found out they existed again.

Dual durometer, but not dual pour.

Yeah I figured they would be amazing on wood. I'll have to try them when the rink opens back up. It's nice to have an 84a dual pour, especially with sprungs. Edit: well it seems like nobody in the US is selling them... The only option is really the world cup reissues directly from RR, and they're 82a, not 84.

I would assume so. profile can be dependant on company as well, labeda use a different profile in their wheels compared to rink rat for example. I can confirm that other than the sick colour job on the dual pours they’re virtually Identical to the old school world cup(I still have a couple brand new in my draw that I can use for comparison) and every other dual pour rink rat hockey wheel.

This makes a lot of sense and was something I was missing. Definitely can see how the loading can happen on acceleration when you are on the front of your skates versus steady state striding. As for skeptics and keyboard warriors, many people are curious, some are engineers, some like myself are in product and have a natural curiosity so these types of questions immediately come to mind. This is especially true in a market where equipment prices are through the roof and it is hard to tell if there is actually any appreciable increase in performance commensurate with the increase in price. No offense, just the nature of the discussion.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. FYI: We have a few coaches using BT steel on TRUE skates with the first generation TRUE holders and they have been waiting to change to their new skates hoping that you release steel for the SHIFT holder. Fingers crossed 😉

Too many to list... To answer the question though: bought and mounted 2 pairs of sprungs on a pair of 1s and 2s pro Supremes and I pre ordered marsblades R1 frames. And I ordered 3 new sticks Easton pro stock v9es for about 90 bucks each. Some new outdoor wheels and blades if you count just the functional stuff to get through lockdown too. Plus a few green biscuit pucks, the ones for shooting. About a grand total.

Well... I need to correct my statement as I misremembered I guess. I am the same person that did that review so...

I agree with this as well. I will add: Shins: I find the knee is too mobile and has a little too much float. I think they should have kept the CURV facing instead of changing over to plastic. Protection seems to be less than previous generations. Elbows: Like the three-piece design and how mobile they are. Wish they made them a little deeper so the elbow would sit nicer in the cap. Shoulders: Like everything on them except the removal of CURV. Gloves: Seems like they decided to go for lightweight and mobility, removing too many features I appreciate. No poron anymore. Finger gussets are no longer nash and instead are a cheaper mesh material. Palm seems like a cheaper material. The elimination of the three-piece thumb was silly. Bauer has had the best thumb design on the market and they took a step in the wrong direction. Pants: I think the removal of laces was fine. I only wear girdles so I cant really comment on the pants. Summary: Everything seems to be focused on weight and mobility for the Vapor line now, but protection seems way less than previous generations. Quality has not been impressive either. We had two pairs of elbows already returned by two different players where the upper arm cuff completely separated from the elbow cap. The stitching literally came undone like it was never sewn together. Both pairs of elbow pads failed in the same exact area. I appreciate Bauer making the Vapor line fit better, all of the items seem to fit better than the previous generation but I think they may have sacrificed quality and protection in order to get those results.
