I put spray insulating foam in my skates after I tie them. It eliminates negative space and helps achieve better heel lock.

They are thin cotton dress socks

The 2S Pro, Vapor 1x LE, and 80k skates are all good looking. Much better than these very loud looking skates. I prefer a much more subtle look than something so flashy.

I might be mistaken but those socks look thick. I recommend wearing thinner socks or sock liners, and bake the skates wearing those thinner socks. You weren't wearing those socks when your feet were scanned, right?

Yikes, you are really busting out of that lower mid section. I can't believe a fitter recommended you try a thicker felt tongue, ffs. One look at that and I agree customs would be your best bet, just make sure that whomever you go to knows their stuff because you need a custom facing and a narrower boot so the measurements need to be spot on. I'd recommend you take manual measurements and then compare them with the scan and measurement data before it gets sent off to True. If you aren't happy with what they have produced, make them start again and don't let them send it until YOU think it is right.

I've definitely seen some guys Who have successfully gotten some if the more intense CCM graphics off. There's a ref where I play who has what look to be og super tacks (2016) that have all the graphics stripped. They look awesome. I haven't seen the Jetspeeds in person so I can't say if they look like that might be an option with the red. The flags look nice but don't really appeal to my taste. Part of why I like the 2s pros so much, really simple design, nice and clean

I've worn a Bauer face mask, Mission sports mask, and mission gaiter with a half shield. No issue with fogging but have the same condensation issue. My guess it's the result of breathing harder through the various fabrics. Condensation is less with the gaiter yet I feel safer with the masks.

Just got my appointment for drain removal. 1/6/21. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Got some Warriors made to match the Stars Winter Classic gloves.

I skated with a guy yesterday who puts a small amount of canned spray insulating foam sealant in his sticks claiming it helps make the stick have a better feel, doesn't add any weight, and makes the stick slightly stiffer. He is a small but stocky guy so he uses intermediate sticks and it does seem like the spray foam does make the stick a little more rigid though I imagine if it ruins the kick point as well. I recall at one point some manufacturers used to put foams in composite shafts but couldn't remember what manufacturers did that. Does anyone recollect which ones?
