The 50k and 70k had one of the narrowest heels in the retail market, when the 80k line came out they had widened the heel for a more general fit.

Howdy, I also have a 7092 girdle. I can't say I've ever really noticed how tight or loose the shell was particularly, so I may not be the best example for you. The shells I like the most are the Warrior pro stock ones with the Velcro / pull strap front. I have a medium girdle and use either the Medium or Large shells interchangeably. 5'10", 190 lbs, 35" waist. I have a CCM PP90 prostock as well that I like about as much as the Warrior. Similar deal, velcro front closure with a pull strap. Also a couple Bauer MX3 Supreme shells. Same thing... Velcro front closure with a pullstrap. Those have a clip buckle for the pull strap. I like these fine as well. I don't leave the shell attached to the girdle / don't attach it when I wear it, so I don't know anything about attaching any of them to the girdle itself. I can't say that I've noticed any of the shells I've ever worn restricting my movements. But I'm old and slow, so that might be more related to that than anything else. 🙂 Mark

SB4.0 love that holder. I'd have gone XS if they had it available during my switch though.

I agree with the guy up above with the awesome username and how elbows are very tricky because there really isn't much of a sizing guideline. I wore smalls for years because they always fit around my arms the best, but they were always too short and sometimes the elbow cap wasn't a great fit. My issue is I have skinny arms, so what I've done recently is buy a medium (currently in Tacks since the jdp cap fits so well) but I modified the straps by folding them back on themselves and sewing them to shorten them up giving me a perfect fit.

Why don't u just try doing it yourself. Chances are bc of the long bake times , the adhesives get loose/ melt a bit. It happens. So it may not necessarily be a qc thing as pre bake it could've been stuck pretty good. Honestly I wouldn't bother paying someone to do it and just get some flexible adhesive and do it myself. Or even loctite gel super glue. I know true used to recommend using the loctite super glue for liner issues.

The stitching is good.. Seems to me like the problem could have been avoided by adding more stitching above the material inside rather than relying on adhesives. As for the tendon guard issue, the bad spots can be pushed down where they belong, the gluing was just a bad job. Not sure the guy I would take these to would need to remove it to glue them down. Will be his call though. He's the expert.

Elbows are tricky because height and arm size don’t always line up. If you have longer, thinner arms, you may need a medium circumference but large length, depending on where you like things to sit. Or large circumference and medium length. I’m 6’2”, and historically wear a medium, because it’s what best fist the circumference of my forearm. Currently in a medium original Reebok 10k. The past few years, when I try things on, I’ve felt better in a large (for Tacks, Vapors, Supremes, and Warriors), as I feel like I need the extra volume around my elbow. Even though my pads are old and I’m 8-10 years older than when I bought them, I don’t think my arms have really changed. To me, it feels like the space your elbow sits into is shallower on recent elbow. —- Total aside.... I feel like elbow pads are the most annoying, least sexy thing to buy. They are hard to size and boring to try on, and if you do it right, don’t notice them at all when you get new ones. You can visually see new pants and gloves and helmet, and they let other players know you are awesome. New sticks allow you to rip shots and make buttery toedrags. New skates change your whole game up and down the ice. New elbow pads...immediately go in the background.

I had ACDF, Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion. This was done on 3 Levels, C3-C4, C4-C5, & C5-C6. Biggest issue I had though was my disc at C3-C4 was herniated & calcifying. A herniated disc is one thing but a Herniated Disc calcifying and putting pressure on your spinal cord, well lets just say that's a good time to have a chat about upping the 'ol life insurance policy for the fam. With these discs its a Domino effect, when one fails the one below starts to take the burnt and get messed and then the one below that, and so on. My ortho did 3 levels as 2 needed it and the third was going and would eventually need to be done at a later date so he just went for them all in one shot. The scariest thing with my issue is I was fine one day and then woke up with the worst stiff neck you've ever had in your life and couldn't move the right side of my body. That went away over a few days but that's when the pain in the shoulder/trap area really started. That began to radiate down my triceps and then into my ring/pinky fingers started getting cold and pins & needles. I also lost a lot of dexterity, just trying to hold pen and write was excruciating and I basically couldn't even do it. After this I started to notice a lack of strength in my right side and also a loss of muscle mass in my arm & chest. All of this took place in the matter of 1 month. Obviously my case is an exception, in one day I went from having an MRI at 7 AM, getting a call from the Ortho Surgeon around 10 AM saying I needed to come in immediately, seeing my ortho surgeon around 5 PM being told what was wrong (I passed out during this news) and scheduling my surgery for a week later. Even with my case insurance sucked ass, my primary care wanted to put me through the pain pills/cortisone shot/Physical Therapy before an MRI and I went to the head of the practice and told him I'm not leaving your office until I get an MRI (I had one scheduled in 2 days after this). The surgery my Ortho said I needed to make sure I resolved that calcified disc possibly severing my spinal cord, even that got rejected! My Ortho said that happens all the time and a phone call w/ him and the insurance company gets it pushed, but still its an insane process. I still urge anyone who ends up with or thinks they have a Cervical Spine issue to get it checked out just because I had no clue how bad of shape I was in and the only way to find that out is by an MRI. If you've got any more questions or need any more info, please hit me up. I've kinda become an expert with this stuff after my ordeal so if you needed anything just hit me up.

I was officially denied the day or two off for this that I requested. Have a good time everyone. I'll (hopefully) see you all in December.
