For 140$ I’d rather buy wet blades.
-
I recently rebaked a skate and used vetwrap, aka coban to do the same. After I took off the skate I tied the laces and wrapped it and let it cool off for 24 hrs. Very snug!
-
If the price is right I might check out some shoulders

Not TOL
-
I was told by Pure hockey staff the previous vapor line will not be going on close out. Will remain at full price!
-
I guess I could also just ask the seller hey if it doesn’t fit can I return…
-
I agree. No one cares. Should get you an application to where I work. But regarding these gloves I think I’m going to have to return. I’m weary of buying a 13 because they might be too small. And for SLS, I don’t think a return policy exists.
-
Recently purchased True XC9 gloves online in a 14 only to find them to be longer than all my other 14s in various brands. Warrior I am a 13 in. Is this a “thing” now? Or just a variance per manufacturer?

Where is the rest of it?
-
Both blue for home and away. This is a post injury addition.
-
Per his Instagram he had this on his gloves prior to current events…
-
I have tried that on occasion in warm ups. The over the tendon guard look I call it “the Swede”. Always feels too restrictive. Pull the sock off after 5 minutes.
-
He did that on the rangers

150$ for kydex?
-
I used those before I made my kydex version. They are very good.
-
No disrespect to Brendan Perlini but Bauer isn’t going to tease a new Supreme skate by showcasing it on: Brendan Perlini…
-
Sure you can. I’ve removed it and taken off the tape residue. I replaced my first set that was just standard kydex with a black carbon fiber pair. Use a hair dryer to heat the leftover adhesive and it will come off. Do NOT use any solvent or alcohol pads, it will remove finish off the skate.
-
I didn’t find any. The only thing I found that was helpful was to take blue painters tape, apply to area of skate that you want covered and trace it. Lift the tape off and put it on some cardboard and then cut it out. That becomes your template. Trace the template onto the kydex and use the rotary tool to make the initial cut. Use a sanding bit to smooth out the edges then bake in the toaster oven 250F for about 4-5 mins. Take it out right away and shape it to the area on the skate you are covering. Should be obvious but wear heat resistant gloves. I just used a pair I use for cooking they were fine. Double check the edges to see if they are smooth enough to your liking and then use double sided tape to affix. Good to go and you saved some dough!

DIY. very simple. purchase kydex, rotary tool and a toaster oven. I've done a few pairs.

The new STX Surgeon RX3 gear is out.

I believe the sale precluded the 14 day free demo. I had to pay my own shipping, but you can reclaim the fee through PayPal if you purchased using that. -

Echo this sentiment. That flap is very rigid! I tried them on with socks also to see if they would be held down a little more when actually playing. It was like 50/50. the socks have to be consistently tight throughout an entire game. I like the pad but unfortunately I think I'll end up returning. The RX3 stick is nice though. good deal for 100$. -

Just for reference: son is 6’4” and wears medium ccm rbz 130. He is like 160 lbs. I think it has more to do w chest size than height for ideal fit. -

NY. Good luck. Holding out as long as possible before rink opens to take advantage of the warranty. just holding it does it feel well balanced?
