  1. Interesting discussion in this thread! I'm not a defenceman and have always been blown away by how they play off each other the way they do. Sorry I obviously have nothing to add to the discussion but just wanted to mention that I find it fascinating. So, keep it coming :)
  2. I saw those frames on ebay, too. I almost bought them. Decided since I'm used to a flat rocker on my skates anyway I didn't need them.
  3. Definitely prefer with the silver logo.
  4. Haha that's why I said to message any of us - I didn't want to be a dick and just say to message me
  5. Mine are VH, you have True. Mine are also goalie skates :P
  6. Whoever told you that was wrong.
  7. They absolutely have to be baked. I’d be shocked if you could even get your foot in them without it. There’s no reason to not bake them.
  8. Ahhh sorry man. I doubt it’s kosher to go posting that in the thread. So for everyone else: current owners can give you a discount code for $25. Just message any of us and we’d be happy to share :)
  9. Just got the invite to configure and order my Model 3
  10. New stick grips from Russiangrip. They’re really nice. Maybe not 3x the price of tacki mac nice, but still very nice. Tacki-mac also can’t do dual colors like this. I have my first ever set of custom sticks on the way so figured why not. Likely go back to tacki-mac in the future just for the price difference and the wait time (took 2 months for these)
  11. Fantastic clip. Always love behind the scenes on shows like this. They've got to be an absolute blast to make.
  12. My Mako conversion. Thanks to @JR Boucicaut and the new MSH Pro Shop!
  13. I guess that makes sense. I’ll happily enjoy both wearing my True skates and driving my Tesla
  14. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny?
  15. That's the nice thing with the Sparx; it gives level edges consistently once you get it adjusted.
  16. SoCal here also. I got fed up with how bad the sharpenings are here. You'd think a pro shop run by Randy Carlyle's kid would be decent but no... definitely not. To be honest though, if the campaign hadn't been run by a MSH member I may not have backed it. That was a pretty significant reason also.
  17. Can anyone suggest a good car power inverter so I can bring my Sparx to games and sharpen my teammates skates for a couple bucks? I'm not sure what wattage is required - I'll have to look that up.
  18. The nice thing about the Sparx is that it doesn’t round the toe and heel so it doesn’t change the profile of the runner.
