Sounds about right. It's almost like you need to cycle through the "regulars" and hope that they both don't get (severely) sick and don't get sick again. Just tough to control because you know not everyone is taking the necessary precautions.

I wouldn't mind outdoor inline right about now. Sucks missing out on hockey (both ice and inline) but I just don't feel comfortable playing indoors when that is considered a 'high risk' activity.

Yea, I'm on the eastern side of PA and youth hockey is in full swing. I don't have any kids but I do coach and officiate so it will be interesting to see what happens. I know our club (Tier II Travel) has tryouts starting Sunday. And officiating assignments have been going out over the last couple of days for youth spring league. Who knows what the Fall/Winter holds for us though...

Yea, watching right now. We'll see where Lafrenière is slatted to go. Just nice to have a NHL event on TV.

And that's the unfortunate truth. Tough to go to the rink to "get a break" from reality when being at the rink puts you at higher risk. Rough stuff.

That's the problem with people who are in charge/places of power. Instead of looking out for the greater good, those people are worried theirs and theirs only. Hopefully, change is coming sooner than later. Clearly long overdue.

My first schedule game will be with my inline team during the 1st week of July. I want to get back to hockey but still don't feel comfortable going back. Its weird feeling this way as (like most of yous) a hockey junkie. We'll see.

It's messed up but not surprising. We've heard stories like this before but I don't think it has been this high of a profile (maybe Theo Fluery). We have to wonder how much of this is still going on at higher levels of hockey.

Yea, that's the rub right there. I don't think they will start hockey till our area is in the area in the Green Zone itself. By that time, I'm sure the rink will have a decent sense early on if their new way of doing things is working.

Definitely my concern to when we open up here in the Greater Philadelphia area: unnecessary exposure. I just hope that everyone else did/does their part and stay healthy. I look forward to playing hockey (hopefully) soon.

One the rinks will start opening up next week for youth camps with limited access. As for the adult league, it seems that each team will get two lockers to enable social distancing while getting dressed and will have to clear the locker room quickly after our game is played.

The format makes sense. I'd imagine the TV contracts probably look to have a regular season and playoff season fall under one year on an annual basis. Starting hockey in the summer should be part of the 2019-2020 season. If anything, it would be nice to have hockey start and end later. But that is someone who watches all sports but likes baseball the least. Having summer hockey would be nice and there are plenty of sports during the fall. Interesting times ahead.

I've only used a couple of indoor wheels but the Konixx Pure (+2) wheels are my favorite ones thus far. I'm currently using them and look forward to using the Pure X's when the time comes to replacing my current wheels.

It would be nice to have hockey back but it will be sloppy play I'd imagine. Going from off-season mode to Game 7 mentality seems like a lot for such a short period of time.

I can also attest to the "ice-like" feeling when using the O1s. I've been using them to play full time for about 2 years and its been a blast! Because of my long-term experience with them, there was no hesitation with the R1 pre-order. As someone who spends a lot more time on ice, the transition from ice to inline (and vice versa) has always been seamless. I don't find myself having to readjust my stride like I have in the past with normal inline chassises.

Is that why they "shut down" for a few months?
