I had a feeling that's what it would be like going back after getting used to FBV. Concussions suck, I do not recommend them. :(
-
No deal with Warrior... Yet. They need to get him a deal. I like those gloves, looks much better than the retail/Kovy version.
-
For $20 you should have picked me up a pair. :P
-
Nice Bouce, I was wondering what the other glove was. ;) That is some gorgeous work. If you sent that to FIBM they'd probably use a belt sander to take the cuff down.
-
20 mins? It takes me 5 mins to change my runners. I have LS2 holders. Misaligned edges on a regular hollow is basically the same as with FBV.
-
It would look better if the stitching was all over and the glove was solid black. Pinstripes, it would be pretty gangster. I would take a pair of pinstriped franchise gloves for free.
-
Micronash kind of acts like digital, I didn't like it either. I would imagine you'd feel something similar to having a digital overlay on clarino, it bunches a little. With mine, as much as I hated the palms when screwing around, it didn't bother me on the ice. The warmth of the glove was what bothered me.

Sweet gloves, I expected the cuff to be shorter but cool nevertheless.
-
It's flatter than before but who knows?
-
The Miracle Stone is the only reason I'm able to make two sets of runners last from late Jan to now... Well that and not backchecking.
-
They felt like one90s but with different back/kidney protection. It felt lighter too.
-
Stop buggin Jesse and talk to Dave. :P
-
haha. Yeah, Reebok copied Farrell's design, then used their time machine(Adidas Timemaster 2001) to make a limited release of Jofa gloves and start their RBK line. ^_^

Ah very cool, nice idea... haven't seen many of these patterns despite looking for OPSs on a daily basis. I was wondering where you were getting these goodies, but after some of my recent finds I wasn't counting out the "hockey gold mine" theory.
-
Cool, thanks for the pic. You can see it developing over time, I guess. The Warriors I have are more drastic with the SE being inbetween. That's more like the Afanasenkov's toe, it's probably my favorite part of the pattern. Man, you've been on a OPS kick lately! Decided to move on from grip lites? :P
-
Does it have the flat spot on the bottom of the rounded toe?
-
I liked this thread more when we were "showing off" gear we have not gear we might someday buy. So...
-
I'm soo close to buying another one of them but just when I feel like I love it, I loose the puck because of the rocker and start to rethink it again... Seems like once I get confident with it, 3 passes will just slip under the heel or toe. It's also at 57" which is about an inch shorter than I normally use.
-
Along the lines of the ones Mack posted, been trying to get used to this guy. Oddly enough I'm having trouble not sailing backhands over the net, the forehand isn't really a problem... well getting used to the huge rocker is a slight problem.

Vapor XXXs are one of my favorite gloves to date. My biggest issue with them is the flex thumb, but these have a lock thumb... It doesn't get much better than a Vapor XXX with a short cuff and lock thumb.
-
Got these a couple weeks ago.
-
These were retail models.

Nah man, one95s are much deeper.
