  1. They were pretty cheap too.
  2. ...and to support the neat factor of Jofa gloves. Both are extremely light, I haven't weighed them but in a simple balance comparison the one95 is more blade heavy.
  3. how did the x60s feel compared to the one95 Lighter, stiffer, a lot less puck feel. Not too hard, I have two pairs in my MSH bag. haha. :P
  4. Like I said before, the only difference between the 22 and 24 is flex. We solved this back in June when I had two of each and two of his X:60s.
  5. Even at 99 cents, I just couldn't do them. That's exactly what I said, haha.
  6. Is that a long term or short term review? I'd say short term because I've only used it about 5-6 times. I might go back to it soon though, the one95 is on it's way out.
  7. Very light. Not much in the "feel" department. It shoots well.
  8. lol....you think it would help, but I still suck with them. ...and you forgot to show off the coolest part of the glove. ;)
  9. I'd normally wait till after the weekend before I'd start celebrating, I always assume it is going to be like "Meet the Parents."
  10. Just go to a place with a selection of cheap, used gear. Have an idea of the shapes you want and buy some protective pieces. For fabricated pieces like you want to do, don't limit yourself to just shoulder pads but maybe some elbow pads or pants have pieces you might want... Remember, plastic can be cut! I mod a lot of my stuff and I always keep the left over pieces for this very reason! :)
  11. Buy a cheap, used pair of shoulder pads with the features you want and buy a sewing awl/waxed thread.
  12. I like the graphics, wish they(and other companies) did away with the chrome and went with a flat silver or pewter.
  13. Yeah, we here at MSH try to make the rest of you feel better... I don't have enough space/wide enough camera lens to take a pic of all my gloves together. :(
  14. I should have left a note for you when I had my hands on them. ;)
  15. Ok, in comparison to more popular brands. The Fuels fit similar to the Supreme one95 but with shorter fingers and a little looser in the cuff. The L7s would fit more like TPS or Easton gloves, looser(than the Fuels) and short fingers(shorter than Bauer/Warrior). The Pro L7/M1 also have very high density foam and are a stiff, yet mobile glove. They're very protective.
  16. Yes, 95 would be between 87 or 102. 112 is more than 102 and 77 is less than 87.
  17. I've always heard the third time is the charm. ugh.
  18. It's not really more difficult to sharpen, it's just not idiot-proof. The weight difference, particularly on larger sizes is very noticeable and considering where the weight is, it's just like making a blade heavy stick more balanced. I wish Bauer would release something similar, the weight difference between my XXXXs and my one95s(288 vs 296 on the one95) was noticeable in the transition between the two skates.
  19. As far as Bauer goes, they have a -1" for a short cuff and the standard retail sizing in the hand. So a 13" glove that fits like a 14" with a short cuff is labeled as 14" - 1". I believe they also have a +1" for a longer cuff. The others I'm not sure how they are officially marked.
  20. yeah thats right. I remember Darrent Williams was gunned down in a limo i think it was a few years back too. And Burress with his whole legal deal with the unlawful possession of a gun. This thread/topic has been really busy lately. Mortality rate of celebs is getting crazy Shot in the neck in a limo in Denver, New Years Eve a couple years ago. I remember I woke up the next morning after coming back from a tournament, and saw that. I was pissed that they had blown their chance at the playoffs in their final regular season game, but that really put things in perspective as far as how small of a deal a game is. Jayson Williams shot his limo driver like 6 years back, does that count too?
  21. Agreed. Last night I was talking with my friend that knew him a while ago... in talking about Billy, I recalled seeing him on the tonight show with Jay a few months ago. I remember him mentioning his start as a pitchman and how much trouble he was having bringing people in. He mentioned who helped him out, I'm not 100% sure but I recall him naming Ed McMahon. I've been looking for video online for the past 5 mins but all I can find is "highlights" of the interview with Dana Carvey and Jay. Anyone else see that episode that can correct or confirm? If so, that's a rather odd coincidence. Also, it appears that it was hypertensive heart disease that lead to his death.
  22. I kinda hope it's that guy and his wife from "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" because I'm tired of hearing about those idiots.
  23. I actually was leaving the airport when I saw the plane that Mays was on that had the rough landing. The rescue team was on their way out and there was no smoke and the plane looked fine with the exception of the lack of the front landing gear. It didn't look bad at the time and I didn't think much of it but it turns out to be a possible COD(epidural hematoma?). Kind of odd because I know someone that worked with him recently and I have a friend that worked with him a lot on one of the shopping networks. My friend said he couldn't have been a nicer guy and he really did try to help everyone starting up before and after he got big. BTW, my money is on OJ and/or Larry King.
