Hossa is close, Elias is just an open toe.
-
The Kovy's I've seen are massive toe hooks. Much more extreme looking than the Saprykin, but I could be wrong. Comrie and Elias I've come by, Hossa I can't find just a blade, and the others I'll have to take your word on. I probably should have said 'come across' rather then existed.
-
Are you kidding me? for lefties there is the Saprykin, Prospal, Roberts, Hlavac, Hossa, Bertuzzi, Comrie, Elias, Vikingstad(SP?), Malkin and that's off the top of my head... Pretty much every variation from a mid, mid-toe to a pure toe you need. Most of the Saprykin's are the pro Kovalchuks and I've always seen some available somewhere.

If you really want them to shine. Look over those extra pads and cut off the ones that you don't like. There are 3 removable pads on the cuff, one is on the top, the other two are on the underside. Take a seam ripper and they should come off and look like they came that way. My Mike Green gloves are MUCH better than the standard Pro Tack(Mine are MIA made, but it's practically the same thing) simply because of the removed pads.

They are X72s, the PPFs weren't out yet so the outline of "Eagle" was unique. Obviously, no thumb logo or model branding, 1/4" added to finger length. MSH2 single-layer palm, MSH2 gussets.
-
Well, for $260 I want; custom cuff, custom graphics package, sewn cuff logos, lock thumb, single-layer palm with digital finger tip overlays and NO white stitching. I'm not holding my breath. You and me both. Those AKs are gorgeous. There are a couple others with them but I cant recall which players had them. I think it was someone on the Canucks.
-
Yikes....mine were $280.00 when all was said and done. <_< Hey, don't get me wrong here... Everyone can spend their money how they want and they can be happy with it. ...I'm just saying that $260 is more than I would pay for custom Franchises, unless I can customize EVERYTHING. I paid less than $260 for my eagles and I adjusted finger length, logos and added a single-layer palm to the stock options.
-
I think $200 is stretching the cost for Franchises. No double-stitched thumbs, screened logos... $260 worth? You'd think they could stitch the logos and MAYBE let you get no backroll stitching.

I liked the Vapor XXX but I didn't like the XXX lite and the XXXX was worse. Post-Innovative, the one95 was the first NBH stick I've liked.
-
Cool, I still don't trust the Vapor Series stick though. Besides the kick, I loved the dimensions of the U+.
-
Yeah, but it's hard to give a full video review based on artist renderings of a Hefter helmet.
-
...for those of you that are too lazy to read the catalogue, you can have the catalogue read to you.

TSR is a hockey shop in Salem, NH.

Mine is "C29."

I found it more narrow than the 9500, closer to the 4500 in width... So I had to go up to a Large in the 5100. It looks like it would have pretty good airflow from the foam/vent design but I found it uncomfortable. :(
-
WRONG. A, B, C, and D signify shaft wall thickness with B being standard. You're right, I forgot about that "option." Thanks for the correction. Just looking at all these damn one95s and trying to remember what the codes are since the guys from TSR aren't much help. <_<
-
Amount of sticky grip. A, B, C and D are options.

I couldn't have been more disappointed in the glove, I haven't seen the other protective but the S17 elbows were great... albeit virtually unchanged from the S9. With such a quality pro glove and I mean the PRO glove, not the custom order glove... It's a shame that they couldn't even bring the pretty darn good custom order glove to retail. These aren't even remotely comparable to anything that isn't the lowest-end glove offered from each major brand. It's absolutely appalling.
-
Hopefully many more playoff series to come! During most of the Blues games I've watched this season, Perron was a stand out on the ice. Keep up the hard work, Perron(obviously among others) is a big reason why the Blues have made such a big step forward this season.
-
I severely underestimated what everyone was saying about the E-Pro glove... I'll be the one to say it, it's complete crap. The glove is soft and spongy like a low-end glove. There are not nearly as many plastic inserts as even the custom order 4-roll glove. The foam is MUCH lower density, the material is just cheap feeling. I would have guessed it was a $30-40 glove.

Have you tried Pittsburgh?
-
It's been changed at least 3 times since the last Bauer stick I bought.
-
I was expecting the toned-down Sakic but this is what I got:
-
Yeah, it is. They had P88s too. I skipped out on that because I did like it but they've changed it slightly a LOT over the past 4 years. This P92 doesn't exactly look the same as before either.
