    Not you he was referring to SMU. Alan has reposted the exact account of his dilemma every time. And while we all feel for him with the issue. We are all pretty much over hearing the entire story that is no so long it takes up an entire page with 3 or 4 other responses. But I have had the same success with fitting of Pro Stock boots. Just took the original measurements and checked to see how close and so far all but 2 have been very good fits. One came back after a couple skates but sold that skate again to a rec player that had odd feet and was able to make them work. Have a great day!!!

    I dont know what to tell you. in the 3 years I have been fitting these skates the red has always been the top cap liner. Not and extra and never taped.

    If the Foam is red that's the liner foam not added. All added foam is black.

    Wearing socks? Where does it say you scan with socks on? Maybe this is why I have had so few issues? I always scan barefoot

    Final word, Ok, again I am not blaming the shop!!!!!!!!!! I said there is a lack of communication from the shop to the factory!!!!!!! In the beginning, the shop had zero accountability according to SMU and I and others disagree!!!! The shop should be 50 50 with the factory and that the factory should and is standing behind what they do and remaking the skates!!! The reason to bring up the others is that I keep seeing how they never make any mistakes and they're so perfect. It's not about defending True it's about getting the record straight and nobody is perfect. My experience is after 30 years that Bauer is the worst CCM is better and True so far has been the best when it comes to custom skates!🤐

    Ask CCM and Bauer how many pairs they will make to get it right. I'm not arguing or getting in a War. Just stating facts from knowledge of fitting True Graf Bauer and CCM customs. Of course it should be fixed and it will. All I said was the shop in my mind did not communicate correctly the information. Nobody is saying they shouldn't make it right And yes this has taken to long. But knowing the process more thoroughly than most I know there is shop error here. True has stood behind and has made 2 or 3 skates now. I'm betting it's now 3 or 4 in the process and they will get it right.

    We are putting this on the shop because it is up to them to relay the information. It does not matter if its bauer's or ccms I have worse problems with my customers that have gotten those skates. 1. CCM. The shop measured or marked down the wrong feet. Left is bigger by one size. But they marked it as right. The skates were 3 weeks to make and came in opposite. This order was done 1st week of August. The person wearing it plays AAA on a top team. They were given a mismatched pair to wear till the new ones were ready. The last week of October they arrived. 9 weeks later. The shop was to blame obviously but CCM took 9 weeks to rectify!!!! And trust me this customer reemed everyone out and still went at a snail pace. 2. Bauer. Top player in the area. Has been in True prior. Gets custom Bauer that are an inch to long and half an inch to wide. Wears them gets a callus on the bone on the side of the foot can't skate for a week. Selected to All Star game and cant play. Draft Year!!!! I fix his True skates had a ripped eyelet and scores an end to end goal on a wasp around. Asks for his money back in sticks or gear. Told no chance. Store isnt doing anything to help. I could go on and on. Or I could go into details of the 10 out of 900 True clients of all but 3 were unsatisfied. And those 3 I sold the skates and gave them Store credit for sharpening on the Difference. That's how to solve this issue. It's up to the retailer to step in and tell the factory were the errors are and what needs correction. If they relay it correctly SMU should be happy.

    Sorry but I have been dealing with them long enough to know there is more going on here. As much as Rob took responsibility I think it's a scan plus shop information issue and always has been. I have never had these many issues in 900 plus fits. The only one was a self induced issue. Not a factory one. All others have been solved on 2nd fits.

    Ok so if I am going but what your saying above.... I have a top ranked CHL prospect in next years draft. He was custom fitted by Bauer at a cost of 1500.00 tax in. His skates were made a half inch to long and a good half inch to wide. By he theory in your post the bone bruise he received and subsequent 3 league games in his draft year to the OHL and potential revenue to when drafted to the NHL and slippage that might have happened from ILL fitting skates, Bauer should compensate him? They have offered to rebuild the skates no charge but he had to find a pair to wear in the 2 week period it would take? He's declined went back to his Ture skates I repaired and scored and end to end goal as a D on a wrap around. Hes not coming out of True skates. Although your situation is not a good one and everyone has now agreed I think your reaching wayyyyyyy beyond. If you paid for that holder on the old skate Rob would easily send it back. A simple call. But asking for compensation for games lost? For falling? There is no way to prove the skates caused you to fall!!! Let's get you in your new skates make sure your comfortable and I'm sure the SHOP will refund if they took the money or True will refund your Sr to JR differential. If your out steel you purchased? I'm sure Rob wi get you another set.

    The difference between the Sr and Jr is all that is needed. Again far to much is being put on True and not enough on the dealer sending better information. Yiu can only build off what you gave to go with.

    What profile? And put a straight edge on the blade. I am betting the toe is pulled in so there is a gap from toe to heel in the middle on the inside of the blade. About a 65th to a 32nd of an inch. You take out all the rivets leaving in the heel coppers and you can see what holes were out of line when mounting. After that I cam help you get them str8 again. I have done 30 pairs of bauers in the last month. Mainly left skates.. 90% of them.

    But if shins are rubhing. Them that us the cause and not a skate issue. That would for any manufacturer. Can't blame the skate if you wear them and allow them to rub.

    All skates high end or not have issues. In my mind if it's a repairable issue and there is no charge??? As for the wear from the shin pad that's on the consumer I see it in all skates that come in. How many top players flop? Ovid doesn't count as he has size 11 tongue in his 8+ custom skates.

    I would have had a talking to with the shop that fitted me and had them email and call why I sat there. That's what my customers do and only had one client with a 3rd pair. And that was a case of I personally think the customer was making a mountain out of nothing. To long a story to retype.

    Ok curious. Why do we have to read this for the 12th time. We all know the issues and you haven't gotten your skates back yet. And why not once yet hss the fit center not gotten one once of crtisism. I know if I messed up I sure would be included?

    Actually there are a few shops World wide that are used to full gaps when the Pro Reps cannot make a fitting. I personally have been asked to do Detroit and Ottawa players in those city's. As well as meet players in Toronto when Jorg is out if town. Not to mention summer fittings. Probably why I sit at almost 900 fits. And the others such as @Nicholas G who have done larger amounts of fittings are asked to fill in when needed.
