2013 Easton Hockey Catalogue
Neo5370 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2013 Product Catalogue Reviews
No more wood blades? Also, sad about the Iginla. Been using it exclusively for the last year and a half. -
Graduating from law school this week. Job market sucks. Loans are huge. The sky is falling.

Does the release of this new holder mean the end of Easton's current razor bladz holder?

Is it still possible to order HG34's and if so, is it possible to get these customized? -

Do you happen to know if the option to order older models only applies to ordering from Graf Swiss rather than Graf Canada?- 2853 replies

The color scheme of the boot, chassis, and wheels are perfect. They almost look like a stock setup. Great job man!- 2853 replies

Hey Drew. I have about 4 pairs of unused gx1300's mainly for OCD and nostaligia. If I were to consider actually using them, do you have any advice on breaking them in. You're right. The fingers are STIFF as heck. If not, about how long does/did it take you to break in easton gx's in general?

WOW! Congratulations to David and best of luck to you Pascal. I can really relate to playing and spending time practicing by yourself just because you love too. Bon chance in chasing both your hockey dreams!

You've never seen it? No offense theo, just informing quintin here, you're missing out. KovyRibsFedo has sick hands.

I absolutely love. Love. The old school Easton Air gloves. If you want to get rid of'em lemme know. Don't really care what condition they're in as long as they don't stink :)

Is any stick really worth $95.00? Like BT said, "Ones born every minute..." Would you be interested in buying a bridge in NY <_< Yeah, I bet sticks hit 150+ some day. I bet no one buys them either. <_<

I agree totally w/ Yglod. I hate this road they're taking as far as aesthetics, theme, names. It might be ok for a clothing line but not for gear. The only thing I like is the AK27 set up.

Does easton do custom skates? I know I've seen marcelo's posted before but I didn't know if the regular joe could get them. Not interested in much else besides custom sizing and an extra long traditional felt tongue.

Old school..........I love it.
-
I finally got a chance to watch the video in this thread, and it was very interesting but is it anything most sharpeners haven't known for years?
-
That's right, only I think they were 3000's. His quote in a mission ad was that he "skated 3000's for years...." EDIT: I left out Modano's 652's, pre RBK. I suppose a lot can be left out. This thread could go on forever. B)
-
Just came to mind..............Kariya's skates. The older model Bauer Supreme line.
-
I've got an old pair of flak/bauer armour elbow pads, some old school cooper v-flex shoulders (that I don't use) and 2 pairs old (unused/in box) 752 Kevlars :D As for pros, did anyone mention Modano's old school Easton Air GX9800(?) gloves. Before RBK of course. Andy Hilbert is still rocking Nike Ignite 2 skates (I think) and was Gionta still using the Ignite series skates as well?
-
Oh.................he knows. :D

Skates: CCM 852 2000 model x2 CCM 752 Kevlars x2 Graf 703's Nike Air Eilites (Fedorov white) Misson Wicked Lites Misson Proto V 1997 model Shins: some low end jofa model from late '90's Pants: early model Bauer MBP girdle w/ Koho shell (gutted a pair of old koho pants for the nylon) Shoulder: old school Cooper V-flex and some low end Bauers (though I don't wear either of these) Elbow: more old stuff, Flak/Bauers, higher end model # (don't have'em w/ me forgot) Gloves Easton Air 2001 (I think........w/ first gen. wrist wrap) Shafts/Sticks: 2 Koho Vector shafts (like the ones Jagr used, black w/ yellow fade) 1 Titan 10000 X Stiff (black w/ red fade) 2 Louisville Kevlar shafts (like the ones Messier used) 1 Louisville Graphite shaft (like Gartner and Yzerman used for a bit) 1 Franklin 8040 convex graphite shaft 1 Inno 1100 5/220 1 Easton Z-Bubble Grip (1st gen. w/ milky grip) 1 Easton GripLite 1 Easton T-Flex Graphite 85 1 Bauer TIG 3750? (black aluminum/carbon shaft w/ supreme graphics and titanium tip, ergo feel concave/convex) 1 Easton A/C carbon (first generation, lidstrom/fedorv model) 4 SW 5030's 1 Bauer 1000 intermediate woodie. 1 Modo FF blade, 1 Nike Quest Comp. blade, 1 crappy Franklin aircore 9006 blade, various wood blades All this is more of a collection now than an arsenal. None of the shafts are right for me. Helmet: Good ol' CCM HT2; have jofa chrom cage and 1Xcel visor, aviator cut w/ vents, but I don't use either as of now.
