As another point of sizing reference, I tried on some RBZ last night and it looks like a 7.5D would be my size. Previous skate sizes had me in an 8 Reebok 9K and an 8.5 in CCM Vector Pros.

I liked when I was reffing games for a team that despised me as a player but didn't have word one of complaint or grief when I did their games. Best ever was doing a midget select game that I wound up doing alone. People from both sides called the assigner to comment on how well the game was done, skated my ass off in that one and had a ball.

Instead of simply rolling out the top of the boot, I would recommend heating up the entire ankle portion of the boot and then tying the skate being sure to tie all of the upward eyelets to the same tightness. That is what I did with the first pair of Synergy skates that I got way back when. The problem was that the top eyelet was closing more than the couple below it and it was causing the top part of the boot to fold over and dig into my leg.

I always say medium or large when I go there, just to see their pretentious faces get all mad.

There are two possibilities; 1: you are good tippers, or, 2: he thinks your girlfriend is really hot.

Before switching out the holders, why don't you tinker with the profile of the steel or add lifts in the toes to counter the forward pitch. Both are cheaper options to new holders and steel.
-
I found out at the top of the page.
-
By all means, try before you tinker. As long as it still feels natural, go with it. If you have to think about what you're doing after more than a few sessions then a particular pitch/radius setup probably isn't working.
-
I've always been a big believer in tailoring the skate to your skating style and not the other way around.
-
If the back of the boot is digging into your leg then you are probably fighting the forward lean of the skate.
-
I thought that with skates you had to go through your store.
-
Doing it at a store protects you should something not go right. If you do it at home and the skate fails, who can you go back to? As for folks' comments about Easton warranty service, I have had nothing but good experiences with them.
-
As long as the bigger holder fits on the boot, I don't see any issues.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say something that Reebok is working on and the "circles" are the pump and release. -
If it is long term, try to set it up so that you at least have a fridge where they put you up. Then you can at the least make lunches with wheat bread and thin & trim cold cuts and you can have healthier snacks for down time. Dining out is always a little tougher but words to avoid on menus are "fried", "crispy" and the like. Stick with sauteed (request olive oil instead of butter) or grilled. Skip fries and get rice for a side, wild rice or brown rice is even better. If there is a vegetable side, ask for it plain as most restaurants will steam a vegetable and then douse it with butter and/or a salty seasoning. Start every dining out meal with a salad with an oil based dressing (creamy dressings are a killer, even "lite" which usually means less fat but more salt/sugar for flavor). This will fill your stomach some and will keep you from killing the entire over-portion in one sitting. I could go on but I don't want to sound too preachy or know-it-all-ish. Having gone through a nutritionist during cardiac rehab, I learned a lot on how to eat better without suffering in the process.

Try to find a way to snack during those long stretches. Healthy nuts are a good option since they are filling and will give you some good fat and protein.

Better off making lifestyle changes than dieting. You'll see slower results but they will last and you won't be depriving yourself of things, which is why most folks put on more than they take off once the diet ends.
-
Good news.
-
I am a firm believer in profiling new steel to guarantee they are well matched, even if I'm not having the radius or pitch changed.
-
I think the rule of thumb with most skates is 24 hours so I think you could be fine cutting an hour or so.
-
That will definitely make rehabilitation difficult but those folks can come up with all kinds of strange ways to get the heart going and back to normal. Good luck.

Glad they caught it. Those procedures are fairly routine these days. At least it sounds like his cath lab experience went better than mine. Catheter turned a 99% blocked artery into 100%, heart stopped, got the paddles and a brand new shiny stent on the spot.

Speaking as someone whose own mother went through strokes, familiarity is a very good thing. With the confusion and other issues that can come with strokes, seeing familiar faces can help put the patient's mind a little more at ease.

Find a neighbor or friend to sit with the dog. I hate hospitals and seeing folks in distress as much as anyone but, its your mom, find a way. It will be better for all involved.
