  1. Those magnetic level tools are a huge pain In a high volume shop setting as they attract every speck of sharpening dust in a 12 foot radius.
  2. I think the older ones were shorter
  3. There are two different generations of True blades, one short hosel, one long. I think the earlier ones were more the culprit for breaking
  4. Ive got an arsenal of 6.0 Standard shafts and blades. Had that happen once with the short hosel variation but no issues with a dozen or so other blades i've used
  5. Has anyone ordered a BC21 or BC91 that could provide some actual photos? trying to compare/decide between the two.
  6. That was a hell of a game, from the little bit I remember of it
  7. Maybe an issue more with the shaft torquing open than the blade? I've had that issue with a few combos
  8. Found these lurking in the depths of PSH
  9. Embrace Bucky!!! 🤣🤣🤣 i can say, in this state, a degree from Madison holds a lot of clout and separates you by miles from other candidates in job interviews.
  10. SOunds like their retail offerings will all be imported, with only customs being domestically made
  11. Ok, not mine personally, but I designed and had these done for a friends son, and they turned out awesome.
  12. Step being made in Canada, and these being made overseas (from what I'm told), makes that decision simple.
  13. Barbara Hale, for those of us old souls who know who Perry Mason is. 😕
  14. Superfly Jimmy Snuka i know he had problems later in life, but damn was he something to watch

  16. I did. It was awful. The hard edges of the speed plates dig into your feet and all responsiveness and feel between the holder and your foot is gone.
  17. I pulled the laces and tongue out and cut some excess tongue off. It's a bit of an extreme fix but it worked for me
  18. A lot of sedation drugs have amnesia as a significant side effect, and that fact is used as a strength rather than a weakness
  19. If that's the worst sharpen your local place puts out, consider yourself fortunate. Ive been sharpening for 15+ years, I'm sure this Sparx will find its place in the niche markets, just as any other upstart product does. However, people who try to remove the element of human error also eliminate the element of human correction, which I submit is necessary to the art of skate sharpening. I'm curious as to how these machines will hold up durability wise, and how long-term calibration of them will be handled. I find it hard to believe these machines can sit in homes and sharpen for any length of time without requiring some maintenance.
  20. Their current Orange comes off way more as Burnt Orange, even at the retail offerings as well
  21. Tough to describe. Concave sides but the top is wider than the bottom.
  22. Damn I miss PolarFibre. It's wishful thinking to hope the old IceAxe/3000 shape could make a comeback
