  1. Yes but I attach them with 8 MLx screws, not rivets
  2. Yes and yes. Put 280’s on size 8’s, it worked very well.
  3. I didn't think it was a material that was reactive or resistant to heat, but I may be wrong on that.
  4. If nothing else, the entire line is a fantastic value. I liked the fit of the whole line, so if they fit you well, I think you’ll be happy.
  5. The RX2 line of pant was comfortable and protective, Assuming they just made some improvements when releasing the RX3, it should be a very good pat, and above average value.
  6. That's a common thing in every beer league I've ever played in, but some people just want their 6 second of ice time 🙄 Not a dick move
  7. I feel like we've had that before in thread form, and it was difficult to follow and kind of died off
  8. Did a custom Uni for the Missus for Xmas. The numbers and jersey are great. The name bar, not so much. Nice job Fanatics, NOT.
  9. Picked up the Tackla girdle to try. Gotta be the lightest girdle I’ve ever put on. I’ll get a more accurate weight ASAP. It has a tag saying “do not machine wash,” but I Removed the pads so I could wash it, because I’m a loner Dottie, a rebel
  10. They're not high end by any means. But above average, and an excellent beer league value stick. Definitely worth a try
  11. I’d been told once long ago that optically the visor works most effectively when it bows outward, hence the spacers being angled as they are. That being said, I used to install thin washers between the screw and visor, you can tighten them more effectively without cracking the visor. https://www.hockeymonkey.com/ar-achelmetkit.html
  12. Check out a Sher-Wood PP09 if you get the opportunity, it's another heel with a shorter blade. Just as difficult to find, but nice.
  13. If you want a forward pitch, I'd begin with the 25/45, see how you feel. Another option if you want more blade on the ice is to go Forward pitch for one holder size higher (25/45) I prefer a lot of contact on the ice, and experimented, ended up on 280's, 35/65 CAG Profile. From what i experienced, most any appropriate CAG profiling felt better than stock steel profile, so you should notice it feeling better immediately.

  15. The original Vector-110 has three similar heel patterns, all wedges. Sundin, Fischer, and Allison. They’re hard to come by these days
  16. my first experience with HockeyMenders, and will definitely not be my last, he did an unbelievable job.
  17. Guess I shouldn’t bitch too much as I got lucky, but there’s always that one reckless idiot on the other team who’s at risk of injuring someone far worse than he’d ever injure himself. https://instagram.com/p/BnElcwvDJrB/
  18. ...So they can order it direct from STX? direct sales, there is no distribution anymore in the US. Not on the West Coast or any other.
  19. had 4orte do up some bags for the Fire Dept squad.
  20. Cheap shit on the internet is cheap shit on the internet for a reason. Buy a similarly priced stick from a company you're familiar with
  21. looks nice. They’ve put out quality stuff for years. Bauer looks to have moved all production overseas
  22. http://milwaukeeadmirals.com/news/050917garage admirals sale June 12
  23. Man, I remember watching an NHL player before practice, soak his feet in buckets of ice water for 15 mins so they'd shrink and fit into his custom made skates. I wont name the skates, but they rhymed with Sour Grapers.
  24. Swear words. Several of them. TFW the first sharpen lasts longer than the steel. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
