for $15 shipped I'll take it. PM me your info. :)

do you still have the Bauer large shell?
-
actually they will. I did custom Eagles back in the Spring and Jesse was a pleasure to work with.
-
you may have missed mine in the custom glove gallery recently: Eagle was great and allowed me every modification that I asked for. I asked for a 13" version of the H34 which basically they did. it's a CP94 made entirely of goat with -3/4" on the cuff and -1/4" on the fingers and the "Hossa" or "twist" cuff. they only thing they messed up was that I wanted my number on the undercuff and they put it on the front. gloves are so awesome that I didn't even care. as for breathability, I used them for the first time Sunday and boy, were they HOT! I wanted to go as authentic as possible though so these will probably just end up being Winter gloves. oh, and don't bother asking Gus. he left there months ago. still great people working there though.

Eagle knocks it out of the park! CP94 dressed as H34 in 13", -3/4" cuff, -1/4" on the fingers

well yes, I'm sure that was the purpose. I certainly didn't mean to imply that Warrior was trying anything shady. I'd like to see the other versions if they ever hit the light of day.
-
they did but the designs were more generic than this. the thumb logo on these is pretty much a direct rip-off of the Molson logo.

I enjoy finding rare and unique pieces. prototype Warrior "beer league" gloves. I assume fear of trademark violation kept Warrior from actually releasing this design.

Sparx Skate Sharpener - At home sharpener
shoeshine boy replied to tamtamg's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
this was pretty much why I bought a Wissota many years ago. the only decent sharpener was about an hour away and (stupidly) not open on Sundays. I bought my own machine and taught myself how to sharpen skates. once I was confident I started doing friends skates for $5 a pop. the machine has more than paid for its self over the last 10 years. this looks like a fantastic system though. my only question would be about the finishing pass. while it's sharpening does it only go heel to toe and then toe to heel for the final pass? -
wooooooooo!!!!!! thrilled to have DP playing for my Pens now!
-
then I'm glad you're not a jeweler.
-
it's not like it's "real". I'm pretty sure that even the people who get "real" rings don't all get the same one. likely only the players, coaches and front line staff get the ones made with real gold and diamonds.
-
of course not because nobody really does that!
-
yeah but you forget that I know YOU. you're not so pretty to begin with.
-
it's pretty ancient. they made visor/cage combos, full visors, half visors and full cages. I still have several of the cages that I never got around to wearing. loved the cage but at some point I got a new helmet and couldn't make it fit correctly.
-
best pic I could find on Google: it clipped on the front and locked. if you needed air or water or whatever you just pivoted it up since there were no straps to unsnap. I would never wear just a visor. even in higher levels pucks can still deflect up and take out your teeth. not worth it.
-
mine was one of those ZLeader half cage/half visor things that pivots up. damn that thing was heavy!
-
I started out with a visor but switched to the cage because I got sticked right in the face (no call!!) and the gash was so big I couldn't even buff it out. :(

a couple of recent pickups: Peter Regin Sens Franchises Evgeni Malkin X60's Boston University Luxe

George's is offering digital now?
-
I forget the total but the soakers themselves were something like $30 and then I added names and numbers for a few dollars extra. I like bright soakers so I don't forget to take them off before stepping on the ice. I used to get tiger striped ones made by A&R but you can't find those anymore except for the puffy ones made for figure skaters. :(
